The location is close to the beach access and less than 1 miles from Wright memorial.
A lot of nice bar and restaurants in the area, some at walking distance, mostly located at 5-10 minutes drive.
Bill is a wonderful host and he has treated us very well, breakfasts were amazing, every day a different surprise.
Everything super clean, the B&B has been built in the ‘46, perfectly maintained, porch and garden in the backyard amazing! Warmly recommended

Having never stayed at a bed and breakfast, I wasn't sure what to expect. I can honestly say that this place was nothing short of amazing! The spacious rooms, comfortable beds, amazing breakfasts and a walk across the street to the beach; made our stay fantastic! Bill and Veda are the best hosts with local information and pleasant conversation. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting Kill Devil Hills!

Veda and Bill made our stay absolutely wonderful. The beds are very comfortable, and the room was refreshed every day with plenty of clean towels. Both Bill and Veda are very knowledgeable about the history of the area, places to visit and things to see. I wish we lived closer so we could return more often. Thank you for making our trip to the Outer Banks so special.

My husband and I had a great stay at the Cypress House. Veda and Bill were the best hosts. They were very welcoming, informative, and attentive to our needs. The rooms were clean and cozy. I loved the wrap around porch and the backyard is absolutely gorgeous. It was so nice waking up to breakfast each morning and conversing with other guests. I highly recommend checking this beautiful house out if you are looking for a location super close to the beach. We will definitely be back soon.

We had a wonderful weekend stay here with the inn keepers Veda and Bill Peter’s. We were very well taken care of in every way…clean accommodations, wonderfully breakfast each morning, great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The facility is a beautiful 1940’s hunting lodge with all the old charm and character but with modern updates of necessary areas. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes to slow down a bit and step back in time a little to a bygone era.

Outstanding people, service and location. Breakfast was outstanding and the talks with fellow customers was pleasant and d helpful. Don't look any further and book! Added bonus when the daughter who is opening her own bakery cooked some delicious scones for us

This was our second stay and we will be back!! The amenities are amazing; tea and coffee available 24/7, delicious breakfasts each morning, accommodating my Celiac Disease & Gluten-Free restrictions with ease. The friendliness & warmth of Bill & Veda Peters made them seem like friends immediately! I especially love the wraparound porch with a breeze and comfy rockers and seats - you can even have your breakfast outside on the porch if you like. The grounds outside are beautiful, and the inside even more. Comfy pillows, mattress and sheets that were so very welcoming each night. Private bathrooms with fresh thick towels - and beautiful views from each window. And the ocean just a few steps across the street!! We love Cypress House Inn, and will continue to come here every year when we vacation in the Outer Banks. We love it!!

Veda and Bill of Cypress House Inn provide the most peaceful and accommodating bed and breakfast stay. They have updated a beautiful historic property with utmost class and the most subtle touch of beach kitsch. Each morning they provide an artful breakfast, served in vintage glassware, along with great conversation to start your day. If breakfast isn’t your thing they also have an extensive coffee bar. The tasteful rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and amazing showers. They offer free use of plush towels and Tommy Bahama chairs and umbrellas to take on the minute long walk to the beach. Because of their attention to detail my weekend with friends was like a deep exhale- everything was so charming and easy. Thank you Veda and Bill for your generosity. I will be back again and again.
