Killarney Royal Hotel

Just back from a 2 night stay in Killarney Royal Hotel. A warm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. We got to see a lot more of Killarney than expected in our short time there thanks to the excellent advice from Valeria on reception, and enjoyed a lovely evening meal in the restaurant with exceptional service from Kiran and the restaurant staff. Breakfast was delicious and portions generous, all serving staff were friendly and helpful and housekeeping excellent. Renovations to the rooms on 1st floor, so we allowed for some disruption, but it was well managed with no disturbance or noise while we were in the hotel (we were out during the day). The room was clean with a very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. We took advantage of complementary pool/gym facilities in the Great Southern Hotel (2 mins walk). Altogether loved our first visit to Kerry and that's very much thanks to the standard of accommodation and service in this lovely little hotel. Looking forward to our next visit.

A very pleasant stay in this lovely hotel. With helpful staff, excellent facilities, and a convenient location we wish we’d stayed longer. The reception, bar and restaurant / breakfast staff were particularly first rate, and always friendly and helpful.

Had a lovely time at the Killarney Royal Hotel. All aspects of our stay were top class from the first email through to checking out. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was bright and comfortable and exactly as requested. We ate in the restaurant and had a lovely meal. The breakfast was perfect. The hotel itself is small but perfectly formed and we would definitely recommend it.

Lovely hotel right in the hart of Killarney brilliant staff the beds are the best we’ve ever slept in and the food was stunning 5 minutes walk from the train station so no need to drive if you like to socialise like we do😜anyway all in all highly recommend hotel

We had the most amazing stay at the Killarney Royal Hotel. The room was so spacious and comfortable. It was very clean and welcoming. The staff were the best we have ever encountered. The food was so good. Definately will return to this beautiful hotel.

My wife and I decided to have our honeymoon (and her first International trip) in Ireland, and we stopped in Killarney for the first leg of it. This was part of what made us absolutely love Ireland. The staff was above and beyond. The bartender told jokes and used us as willing guinea pigs while he attempted to perfect an "old fashioned", the staff at the reception desk were extremely friendly and helpful, including helping us plan the perfect tour for all the beauty Killarney and Dingle had to offer, and some off the beaten path goodies that you can't find online. The rooms are great, though I was initially baffled by the double lock the doors use. We took advantage of their breakfasts and dinners, and let me tell you, at no point did I have a meal that I didn't end up looking both ways so no one could see me licking the plate. It was peace and quiet that was walking distance from some pretty good shopping and a pub crawl if that's your thing. I felt like I was at home. I wish that the rest of my honeymoon went like Killarney, which has a spot in my heart. I'm half tempted to cancel the rest and finish back in the Killarney Royal just so I can return to that feeling of being unconditionally welcomed.
