I would never stay at this hotel again, it's dirty the staff are rude. Bad place

This hotel is a great place. We had a lovely king size room with jacuzzi bath. The bed was really comfortable and the room was spotless as was the bathroom. Everything was fantastic. Breakfast was brilliant, service was quick and staff were really friendly and happy to chat. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked again for December. A big thank you to David on reception who pointed us in the right direction, giving us a map and taxi number if we needed it. He was so helpful and very approachable.

I have stayed in this hotel for a month in 2023 and full May month in 2024. The thing about this hotel is that the staff is really helpful (in realistic terms), and have been a good host to me. Amenities are good, and all I needed could be found there. It is clean and I have rarely found any complaints. There is also a close by Tesco center for shopping, and this hotel is close to the city center as well. It has a peaceful vibe to it.

I stayed in Apartment 24 and I really loved the size of the apartment. This is a large apartment with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with bath/shower. The two bedrooms and living area are air conditioned whoch was lovely as it was hot when we visited. The bedding was fresh and clean and the kitchen area had everything you would find in a normal apartment. The building itself is a 5 minute walk from the train station and has a Tesco opposite. Not sure if you would stay here if you drove as there isn`t a big car park, but as I cam by train it was ideally located.

( Given permission to write on behalf of my family who stayed in the hotel) They paid £30 for breakfast for my stay. Day one was fine, they had a VERY limited selection of food so they could only eat croissants and a muffin. Day two they had closed the kitchens earlier and had failed to notify them about this. (11:00am on weekends, 9:30am on weekdays). The third morning (picture below) they were given 5 individual pieces. They were unsatisfied by the dining service and the staff did not offer a refund when asked; The staff told them it was my family members fault for not being informed about the time changes (which was the staffs responsibilty). On a positive note, the room was cozy, the AC was lovely to have, the location was great as it was tucked away from the town centre. TLDR; The breakfast was NOT worth it. If you stay, use earplugs because the walls are thin.

The park hotel is a refurbished 1850's building originally a private school. The refurbishment is just great retaining many of the original features. !st time I had an Edwardian fireplace in my room and an impressive bookcase. The quality of the fixtures and fittings are better than some hotels at more than twice the price. The staff member i dealt with was very polite and efficient. Given the room rates i cannot belive that some one has had the vision to provide such a good hotel, a stones throw from the town centre, brilliant on-site parking etc for such a reasonable rate. The big hotel chains should stay a few nights and learn from this establishmnet. If you are in Hull even if you normally favour Holiday Inn etc you will be more than pleased to stay here. Well done the operators!

We stayed one night and could have stayed another. Spacious room, comfortable bed, good location, decent breakfast and staff are helpful. Reviews here mention the cost of the parking. We used the pay and display parking across the street, £4 for 24 h.

Stayed 2 nights, all the staff we met were really friendly and helpful especially Amber from the bar. Northern hospitality at its best. Room clean and tidy, bed really comfy. Food good large portions and if there was something that want on the menu the chef was very accommodating to your needs. We would definitely stay there again. The only downside was the amount you had to pay for parking £7.+ per 24 hours which adds up if staying for more than one night

We stayed here for my stepdaughter wedding which was also where the reception was held. We were very impressed with it all. We had a Studio which comprised a king bed with sofa and TV in a separate area plus kitchenette which had a fridge and microwave and hob plus utensils should you need to use it and a decent sized bathroom. We ate in the bar one night and food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The guy on reception was extremely helpful and gave us loads advice to ensure we enjoyed a good stay. Admittedly you have to pay £7.40 per day for parking.....and it can only be paid via the RingGo app that we had to download....it was more convenient to do that and nor worry about parking elsewhere. We were advised by reception staff that you can park elsewhere for cheaper. Very easy to walk into Hull City Centre from the hotel too. Would definitely recommend staying here for a clean and comfortable hotel central to the town.
