The Pickering Park Hotel

Everything was amazing, easy to find and staff were super polite too!!

Nothing wrong with this venue at all. Lovely receptionist good value for money really enjoyed our stay. No problem with the sound of traffic at all or the location of the hotel would definitely recommend. Stayed as a last minute hotel option and would definitely visit again good breakfast range and clean and warm rooms

The 'hostel' is OK if you need somewhere cheap, the breakfast is minimal, on the last day had to buy bread for toast as the bread bin had not been restocked, no tea/coffee facilities in the room but you have full use of the communal kitchen, the shower cubicle door was broke so water everywhere having said that the room was OK and clean, It was adequate but more of a contractors hostel than a hotel

This is a house of multiple occupancy. It may suit building / construction people working in the area. It isn’t really a “hotel” The pictures are not a true reflection of the location in my opinion. It is on a roundabout on a main road. Fortunately I was only there for one night

I am afraid we booked this through a voucher with red letter days. The first thing we noticed when we arrived was that the front of the hotel does not look as good as the picture. You collect your key from a wall mounted security box . We entered the building and my first impression was that it was not a hotel but a hostel. Our room was on the first floor and to be fair the room was very clean and tidy as was the en suite. The whole ambience of the building and the interior corridors were not what I expected and therefore we phoned the proprietor and let her know we had replaced the key and would not be staying. Unfortunately we get no recompense for not staying so our voucher has now been used!

Arrived early no issues with that, friendly guy talked us through check in via phone, booked direct, requested upgraded room, got keys to the room was not impressed! Very basic , Room 7 , strange smell, worksurface round sink cracked & shabby, no tea/coffee making facilities in room which I have never experienced before…(shared kitchen has all these) just not my preference like a cuppa in room without having to feel you need to get dressed & go downstairs (personal choice) called number enquiring if my room was an upgraded one, no it wasn’t they made a mistake, quickly rectified, changed room Room 10, have to say compared to 1st one this was progressively better. Parking , plentiful if you don’t have inconsiderate drivers parking across ways in front of hotel making access to rear carpark not accessible! , when we arrived back at 11pm we had to park on road round the corner (not hotels fault) Would we return , No, ok for what we needed it for attending function Hessle Town Hall.

Hôtel d’entrée de gamme très bien pour une nuit en transit. Quartier plutôt agréable. Le petit plus est la cuisine qui est à disposition. Ne pas non plus s’attendre à un hotel haute qualité, mais le rapport qualité prix est très correct. Petite supérette à proximité.
