This is a small boutique hotel spread across a marina and hillside. Upon checking in, the staff were confused about our booking as it had been altered at the last minute. Staff were also unsure of what the inclusions were in our package. The room I was assigned was inconveniently perched at the top of a very steep hill up about 40 large stairs. This was very difficult when carrying a heavy bag. My room was nice and airy, but only had a view of trees and a little bit of the hotel pool. It had an adjoining door and the people next door were easily heard speaking in normal voices. Our included breakfast seemed fine, until after day one, they started running out of basic items. No mangoes today, no bananas today (for the smoothies). One day they didn't have eggs! The breakfast is ordered off a menu and not buffet and the price of each item tallied up. Late in my stay I was told that I'd exceeded my daily quota for breakfast and was asked to pay extra. The marina offers free paddle boards for use during daylight hours only. The beach was dark due to the volcanic nature of the island. There is a small and expensive shop within the complex to grab some groceries. The biggest tip I can give you is - head to Flowt - it's a bar at the western end of the marina under the trees. Fantastic food, friendly service and cheap beers.
