Red Dragon Inn

Just returned from a last minute one night stay. We booked the last available room, a standard double, and it was far from standard. It was beautifully decorated, and the bathroom was very modern and spacious. Everywhere was immaculately clean. Staff at check in were lovely and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was very good, and Sharon, who sorts the running of breakfast, is very friendly and does an amazing job. We will definitely return to the red dragon.

Went for a late lunch and it was excellent. The food quality couldn't be faulted. My son had a fish finger butty which was substantial and tasty. I had a small plate of pumpkin tortellini with a wonderful red pesto sauce with olive oil, onions and very tiny pieces of courgette in it. It was the best pasta dish I have ever eaten whilst out. Absolutely lovely staff and a gorgeous place with atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Superb!

Last minute decision to stay over on our wedding anniversary, booked directly with the site. All very smoothly completed. Lovely warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the place is very well appointed, lovely clean cosy bedroom with lots of tea/coffee/biscuits and bottled water. Spacious well laid out modern bathroom. Good food and drink selection and none at silly prices. Lovely selection for the included breakfast after a relaxing night in a very comfortable bed. Staff were excellent, very welcoming and efficient, overall we were very happy with our stay, highly recommended, as Kirkby Lonsdale is not really off our regular journey route to see family in Yorkshire we will be back!

Fabulous pub with lovely rooms. Staff are really welcoming and friendly, breakfast was excellent, and they even did us a take out breakfast on our last morning as we had to leave really early. Will definitely stay here again, but will book direct for an even better deal! Highly recommended.

Just returned from a two night stay at the Red Dragon Inn , room was excellent, spotlessly clean , and kept clean throughout our stay, thank you . We had a warm welcome from the manager on arrival, and two lovely breakfasts served by a friendly and attentive member of staff, nothing too much trouble . Enjoyed a delicious meal first evening of fish and chips , all food served hot. Highly recommend a comfortable first class stay at this inn.

Great wee hotel. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was great, shower did t work but issue solved quickly by Sharon. Dinner and breakfast were great. Hotel restraunt is cozy and has good range of beers to select from Recommend staying here
