Brickfields Farm

What a quirky but amazing find. We stayed & celebrated our 55 th wedding anniversary. Food amazing for both breakfast & evening meals. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for Karen & Ian. Loved the touch of home made fudge left in the fridge each day in addition to the replenishment of milk & bottled water. Although at times noisy, nevertheless enjoyable, the Guinea fowl, sheep with suckling lambs, were extremely peaceful just to sit on the patio & watch. Noted also the Alpacas in the field beyond the sheep and the little snorting hedgehog on the patio at dusk. Thank you so much for making our time with you so memorable. Have recommended you to all our friends.

Fabulous 5 night stay at Brickfields Farm - everything from the surroundings, our room, the food and the lovely hosts was perfect. We stayed in ‘Daisy’ which was delightful; scrupulously clean and so comfortable with lovely little touches like fresh fudge in our fridge every day! The outlook and setting is so peaceful - we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area and beyond (we made it to Newcastle one day). The location is an excellent and tranquil base and we will definitely return.

The friendly welcome that we received set the tone for our stay. The accommodation was of course 5 Star throughout with a wonderful relaxing view and environment ( particularly liked the field glasses in our room for wildlife spotting - a nice touch ) The excellent breakfast choices matched the accommodation and set us up for the day A venue to recommend

Once again enjoyed a comfortable stay at Brickfields Farm. Rooms were spotless and big, lovely patio area to enjoy the sunshine. Most of the rooms are on the ground floor so ideal for people with mobility problems. Complimentary milk & mineral water supplied together with homemade fudge. Food at the Feather & Beak restaurant was very nice & reasonably priced. Staff all very helpful. Hope to be back soon.

My husband and I recently stayed here. We were made very welcome by Karen and Ian. As soon as I walked into our room I knew we would be able to relax and rest. We were able to sit out and look at the lovely views. The room was spotlessly clean and had a brilliant shower. Kathy who served breakfast was brilliant nothing was too much trouble. Would I recommend, most definitely

Just spent 3 nights at this lovely bed and breakfast establishment. Staff made us feel very welcome. Excellent food, comfy beds, lovely white bedding and towels and spotlessly clean. What is there not to like . Looking forward to a return visit.
