Every thing has been thought of from the location to the facilities including the BBQ the swimming pool the immaculate interior also the cleaners who were charming and discreet. Next was the local fish taverna which was superb. And finally vassilis and his team made us feel very welcome thank you. Also big thanks to Simpson travel who where always there if we needed them

We arrived after many hours of travel to a very warm welcome to Crete from Vassilis. Youphoria villas are located near Kissamos a lovely town in Western Crete about 40 minutes west of Chania. The location was perfect for us and the view of the ocean and olive groves was spectacular. We stayed in Charisma Villa with a pool, which we paid extra to have heated as it was early May. Very comfortable accommodation and we swam every day. We used the Villa as a base to explore western Crete and all of Vassilis’s recommendations were excellent, including local restaurants and Strata tours, a local tour company who provided transportation to and from the fabulous Samaria Gorge hike on opening day. We also visited Balos Beach, highly recommend, early one morning and Strata Tours provided the transportation due to the poor road conditions to get the beach. There is a 30 minute hike to the beach from the drop off point. Highly recommend making the trek as spectacular scenery. Go early in the day (arrive before 9 am) to avoid the crowds. We stayed for 5 nights and could easily have stayed longer as so much to see and do in this part of Crete, including relaxing and slowing down. Thank you Vassilis for a wonderful start to our 2 week holiday in Crete.
