Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Maingate Central recensioner

I would strongly advise against staying at the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Maingate Central. This was by far the worst accommodation we had during our stay in Florida this month. The check-in staff was friendly, but I was unpleasantly surprised by a higher price than what I had booked via Trip.com. Apparently, there was an additional Covid-19 surcharge, which I find quite outdated. The property itself is in a state of severe disrepair and poor maintenance. The beds were uncomfortable, creaked when lying down, and provided little rest. I read a review mentioning cockroaches, and while I’m not entirely sure if that’s true, I did notice something crawling across the ceiling during the night that could very well have been one. The towels were dirty, and there were tattered bedspreads on the bed — definitely not professional. Breakfast is served from 6:00 to 8:30 AM, which is far too early for anyone on vacation with a family. The room was reasonably clean, but overall, this is not a place I would recommend to anyone looking for more than just a simple place to sleep. On a positive note, the staff during check-out was very friendly, which was a nice touch after such a disappointing stay.

Upon checking in I was made to pay a fifty dollar deposit that I still have yet to receive back and it's been 3 days since I left the hotel. The hotel room was filthy it looked like someone had just been there and left there was stuff in the fridge stuff on the towels and the beds were horrible. It felt like u were laying on a piece of chain link fence it was horrible. The hotel staff was unpleasant and as a gold member to choice rewards I thought they would of been alot more accomadating.

A friend and I booked this room for a budget Disney trip. It was super inexpensive and only about 18-20 minutes away from the parks. We soon found out why it was so inexpensive. Checking in took an hour as there was only one woman (who was incredibly kind and helpful) working the front desk at all times. She was the only one at the desk throughout our stay. Also upon check-in, there was a water outage that lasted close to an hour as well. When we finally reached our room, it was not clean. The beds were made and the surfaces looked clean, but the floor felt grimy and left the bottoms of our feet dirty. The bathroom was dirty (with hair and dust in the corners around the shower) as well. This was fixed after requesting special attention from housekeeping, though it was still not pristine. If you are looking for a budget hotel for an Orlando trip, I would suggest you invest in a cleaner place. But again, the lady at the front desk was kind, patient, and hard-working.

Great so far just have to pay at check in also and that wasn’t disclosed information. Hopefully it gets resolved

We booked the room for two days and extended and extra day bc the price was so good for our business trip. The price was good but the place had roaches and had the nerve to charge us $12 for a towel bc my hair is red and bled a little on the towel I will not rebook

Great people and location...

E' il tipico motel, ci Sono parecchi negozi e ristoranti vicino. La camera era pulita ed in ordine... La gente che ci soggiornava non era gran che, ma se non ti aspetti grandi cose e' un posto dove puoi stare tranquillo.... E' adatto per starci pochi Giorni perche la stanza non te la puliscono ne rifanno il letto fino che sei li, quindi se ci devi stare per una settimana devi pulirtela tu ma io quando Sono in ferie sicuramente non lo faccio...
