Bluebay Beach Resort & Spa

Beautiful place…Excellent customer service,it was vey refreshing to stay here,please don’t hesitate,the staff will make you feel at home and everyone is very warm.The rooms are very clean and feels like home away from home.I am definitely coming back to this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bluebay Beach Resort & Spa, and we would thoroughly recommend it. We were a family of four (older children of 17 and 20 years), and we felt instantly comfortable at the resort, with its brilliant location on the east coast. The range of activities available at the resort include kayaking, paddle boarding, table tennis, pool… even daily beach volleyball games with fellow guests and hotel staff! The food at the hotel deserves a special mention. There was a brilliant range of meal options for lunch and dinner at the buffet restaurant (the Tanzanian night was very impressive). The other restaurants at the resort were also excellent, especially “The Wok” where we had a lovely dinner one evening. The hotel’s location on Zanzibar is also very well located for excursions. During our stay, we visited Stone Town (and Prisoner Island), Jozani Forest, the Rock Restaurant) and Nungwi. All of those excursions are less than an hour away from the Bluebay Resort. All in all, the Bluebay is an excellent choice for your Zanzibar stay. Robertson Family Scotland

What a fantastic experience! The staff at this hotel are its greatest asset - very welcoming, professional, and attentive. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or restaurant team, everyone made us feel at home. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with anything made our stay truly memorable. We will definitely come back!

We stayed in one of their newer Ocean facing suits with 3 beds. upon arrival, a few things were not in place as expected but the staff worked hard and fast to fix or repair anything that was not as it should have been. I greatly appreciated all the effort and hospitality of the following team members; Athumam, AKA "King Arthur", Tomas, Lemalali, and Felisse in the dining room. Each and every one of them deserves recognition and a reward for their hard work and dedication. Cleanliness: The staff worked hard keeping the common areas and grounds clean and manicured. Our room was cleaned daily and sprayed for mosquito's ever night during the turn down service. Thank You! Spa: We received excellent and professional massages at the spa, highly recommend All-inclusive package: was not worth the money for us, since we were not at the hotel all day to take advantage of the meals and the food was average at best. The drinks were just ok as well. Location: about 1+ hour away from town

It was a wonderful experience in paradise with a truly African flair - the staff were amazing and I loved the spa - a place to be pampered and to let go of all the stress and mental baggage - what a happy place! As a solo traveller and female at that, it was a place to find me again! Highly recommend!!

The hotel is particularly beautiful, on the sea and everything is green. It is exceptionally clean, the staff is welcoming and provides service above and beyond, responding to every request immediately, and the hotel manager also personally takes care of every request. We will definitely be back.
