Beautiful B&B what is being run by an adorable couple who can appreciate a good laughter. Nothing is too much to ask, both Louise and Ernie are very willing to make your stay as comfortable as can possibly be. We enjoyed it very very much

Villa Chad is an excellent small guesthouse, tastefully decorated with African ornaments. The 5 luxurious well equipped rooms whithin in a beautyfully designed garden are even wheelchair friendly. Breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of Hosts Louise and Ernie are generous and extremely helpful, giving plenty information about possible things to do in the neighbourhood as well as very useful tips about good restsurants in the wide vicinity. A very recommendable place to stay. Next time will certainly come back here.

What a fantastic guesthouse this is. We stayed here on our way back to Cape Town. Having looked at the reviews and pictures our expectation were high, but Villa Chad exceeded in every aspect. The setting, gardens and rooms are stunning and the hosts (Louise and Ernie) are lovely and super helpful. They gave suggestions for dinner and sorted out a reservation for us. We loved it and would certainly visit again.

We had pre-booked and paid for two nights and arrived directly from a long flights (with a 6 month old) from London. No one was in and we had to be let in by a guest. We were then told over the phone to leave as children were not welcome on the premises. This left us without anywhere to stay in a foreign country and not knowing the local area. The callous nature which this host simple kicked us to the kerb for the crime of having a child was astonishing. Nowhere on the hotel information did it say that there was a no child policy (to the contrary it specified toys and children’s books were available) which is why we specifically booked this hotel. Thankfully after we were unceremoniously ejected from the premises we found our way to Kleinmond Central Café where the owner helped us with finding alternative accommodation and was really friendly. She even offered to put us up in her own house after hearing the awful story of how we had been treated. We were very disappointed by the host of Villa Chad’s bizarre attitude.

VillaChad is a real little gem. Spacious and lovingly decorated rooms. The gsrdens and the pool are outstanding. A quiet, clean and safe location. Louise and Ernie are so great hosts and made our our stay an unforgettable pleasure. Thank you both for it.
