The AAP is a real delight, amazing design, really stunning. Alta and the team look after you so well, fantastic breakfasts! We had a beautiful room with a huge balcony looking directly over the gorge. Monkeys and Hornbills daily visitors. Great location in Kloof, easy access to the freeway, shops and restaurants. Can't recommend it highly enough...we will be back! Thank you

Was so nice looking at all the artwork in the building and surrounds. Only thing I could say would be nice of them to attend to was that they had egg holders blocking some of the light coming into the room on some of the glass bricks, which did not actually block enough light.

Very rainy, it´s to renovate. Outdoor to much trees and slippery. The waiter is very helpful, also the rezeption.

My husband took me away to the palace for my birthday weekend and I was pleasantly surprised at how magnificent it is! Alta received us warmly and friendly and showed us to our room as well as the other amenities. The room was large and comfortable with the most beautiful sounds of nature from the veranda. The bedroom and bathroom could be divided by a shutter but as it was just the two of us, we kept it open which gave the feeling of it being open and spacious. Despite hearing others in the carpark, it was impossible to tell there were others in the palace with us. The bed was so soft and comfortable, there was a bar fridge and coffee/tea making supplies, plus complimentary waters. The staff came in to clean when we left the cleaning sign on our door handle. My husband, who is an amateur photographer, took beautiful photos of the place. We really had a beautiful time together. Thank you to all involved in keeping this splendid palace so stunning!

My sister and I had a truly memorable stay at Ammazulu on the occasion of her wedding in Durban. The roomnwas comfortable. Our stay was relaxing and inspiring as the space is truly wonderful and inspirational. Ms. Alta was wonderful, she took really good care of us and went above and beyond to make it special for us. Also the rest of the staff was really lovely. We highly recommend staying here.

Definitely a hidden gem in the heart of Kloof. The attention to detail and the magnificent artwork are something to behold. I've never seen anything like it and definitely worth a visit. Rooms are enormous and it's so quiet and peaceful.

This had been one of our favorite stays to date. This presidential suite was amazing. The views breathtaking. The suite is well equipped spacious and speaks of comfort. The hostess is so friendly and the staff efficient. Will definitely return.
