La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Evansville

The rooms were great They were clean and up to date. The staff was fantastic. Great breakfast. Convenient to get to and from. We will stay here again!!!

This is the nicest LaQuinta I have ever stayed at. Definitely worth your money. Priced under other hotel chains in the area.

This is a very nice clean hotel. The staff is exceptional. I really don’t have a bad thing to say about it. For the price, you can’t beat it! I will mention this the pool is a little small, but I met a friend from out-of-state there. They were very helpful. We accidentally stayed after check Out and the clerk was very nice to call us and let us know. She said no rush. She was just checking to make sure that we were OK and that we were still in there.

I usually am quite forgiving when it comes to this class of hotel, but there is certainly room for improvement here. Overall it was very clean with helpful, friendly staff. We could even open our window which is rare- loved that. Breakfast was fine too- it included the basics - scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, fruit, coffee, danish, etc. The staffer managing breakfast was working hard (thank you!) and great at refilling supplies. The room’s carpet and floors seemed relatively new and very clean. My gripes are minor. The king bed wasn’t very supportive and had a dip in the center. Could they manage to replace the super raggedy desk chair? (See picture). The fake leather was in tatters. Unsightly and we didn’t want to sit in it. One of the bath towels had a large hole in the middle. Usable, but again, unsightly. Both card keys stopped working after the first night; had to get them recharged and staff were polite about it. And the bathroom really could have used a towel bar- there was plenty of wall space for one or several. The microwave has seen better days and looked like it was from the ‘90s. Parking was free and adequate. The location is a relatively new area with stores, restaurants close by.

I've stayed at this hotel for many years when I travel to Evansville with my dogs for obedience trials. I've always had a good experience my most recent stay. Whereas they've always welcome me and my dogs, they're now charging $25/night and the only room option is on the first floor with laminate flooring, making it difficult for my dogs to walk without slipping.

Elevator was filthy and scary. Towels and sheets were all stained. Noise from the highway was terrible. Bed was terribly uncomfortable for me. Definitely not what I expect from a Wyndham group hotel and would not stay here again for the price.

No complaints, highly recommend, the pool was closed due to the time of year, I’m sure it’s as welcoming as the rest of the hotel. The coffee in the morning, very nice! Overall, we had three rooms and all of us were satisfied.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The television said there was Netflix on it but when we tried it said not available. I asked the front desk and was told there is no streaming. So don't have Netflix, Amazon Prime and other apps on the tv if not going to be able to use. Then trying to find regular tv stations was not easy, you had to scroll through the list of stations, could never program a station. The fitness room had free weights that started at 25 lbs, with nothing lighter. Very few people would need 25 lb weights.

Linen in the bed was not changed from the prior guest. They just remade the bed. There was human hair and some type of animal hair in the bed. We went down and got more sheets to remake the bed ourselves and when we pulled the sheets back there was a blood stain. On the surface this hotel looks clean but it's absolutely disgusting. The shower baked up with every shower. Would never stay here again.
