Spark by Hilton Evansville East, IN

I booked a king suite which advertised a microwave, refrigerator, ironing board and iron and hair dryer. I got to the room. It had no hangers and only enough space to hang three items. Huge room, no clothing space. Also no microwaves as they said Hilton doesn't offer them so they took them out of every room even though it advertised a microwave. It had a desk but no chair. Only a round footstool to sit on. The location's okay but I'll never stay here again. False advertising with no microwaves and I'm here for 4 days. It'll be a Hilton hotel next month, so I'm not sure that it's going to even improve.

This is a very nice place. We had a pleasant stay, the staff are really nice. Yes, they are doing some remodeling, but it is a very nice motel. I recommend it to anyone who is coming through here and need a place for the night. There are some restaurants near by.

Have stayed here a few times over the last year. I live the location, and it’s kept clean. Most of the staff are great. Larry is always super friendly and makes sure we have what we need. I will always stay here when in Evansville

Nasty! Beautiful hotel in great location but house keeping works in a pack of 5 and the rooms are nasty. Mind in shower, shower head filthy, some else’s wash cloth left in room, boogers on headboard curtain and sheets stained. Coffee or rust on lamp

ONLY GIVING 1 STAR BECAUSE IN ORDER TO POST A REVIEW, YOU MUST LEAVE AT LEAST 1 STAR Checked in at 9:30 PM on a Friday night, the front desk clerk wasn't very friendly but ok whatever. We get to the room and it is disgusting!! Mold in the bathtub, and toilet, toothpaste or something all over the bathroom door, dark substance (have no idea what it is dripping down the bathroom door jam. Went to front desk to complain and Greg the clerk was by far, had the worst attitude & customer service of anyone I have dealt with. When i showed him the pictures he not only didnt apologize on behalf of the hotel his response is "well what do you want ME to do about it?" Wow, just wow!! I told him he can at least apologize on behalf of the hotel and he said why, i didnt do that!!" WHAT??? Then he said well I dont have any other rooms. I said you could discount the filthy one Im staying in. He said I cant do that, you can take that up with someone tomorrow!" I told him he was horrible at customer service, he told me Im a horrible customer!! I told him this was hotel was far below Wyndam standards and that I would be calling customer service..His response was, "oh well, go ahead" I traveled a long way tonight and hotels are sold out, so I had no choice but to stay in the disgusting nasty room but I will be speaking to both management and corporate about this pathetic experience

Hotel and staff were superb very friendly and helpful. A great breakfast was served, room was nice. Hotels location to highway was excellent and good restaurants near by and a number of easy access stores for excellent shopping
