Luxory accomodation with a wonderful view to the lagoon and an extraordinary service. (even our car was cleaned before we left...) Welcome drink, cake in the afternoon, ... we felt very welcomed. We would directly book again in case we are coming back to Knysna.

Fantastic experience ! The kindness and helpfulness of the owners are truly unique elements of this location. We have never been so well in SA and then... the breakfast is wonderful!!! Strongly recommended for everybody

Everything from beginning till the end is perfect Ross & Bianca and there incredible team are amazing ! This is a true gem, we stayed here now for the fifth time and we will come back again and again.

What a treat to stay in such a delightful place, rooms spacious,bright, with fabulous views over estuary. Food lovely and beautifully presented. Service and customer care outstanding. Staff so welcoming and friendly & willing to help with taxis, restaurant bookings. Thanks to everyone.

Every part of our stay was great. The property was gorgeous and well maintained, the staff was very friendly. We got greeted 24/7 with a friendly welcoming smile, which makes you feel at home. Beautiful flowers in the room with a welcoming chocolate, what a pleasure. Linen super white, soft, slept like a baby. Breakfast was superb and not to talk about afternoon cake, first class. Thank you everybody at Villa Afrikana, we will definitely return with a smile.

This guest house is a step above all other guest houses! The staff are so amazing I didn’t want to leave. Nothing was too much trouble. As soon as we arrived the full team took to ensuring we relaxed. While we were greated by Beauty, Frank was unloading our car and taking all our luggage to our room without hesitation which was a god send after the long drive from Wilderness. Every detail was thought of and no matter where we went and what time we got back there was always a friendly face greating us back. They even helped us play a joke on our friends on our last night by pretending we had not yet arrived back only to find us relaxed in the lounge armchairs. Thank you to everyone. I cannot recommend this guest house enough. We will be back. If you’ll have us

Beautiful place with stunning views of Knysna and the lagoon. Staff (particularly want to point out Beauty and Tracey) was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and it felt like paradise. Our room was huge with all you would look for, bathroom even had underfloor heating. However, one needs to be aware that the great views come at the expense of a car/Uber/Taxi being required to reach Knysna Waterfront/Thesen Island.
