From the moment of our arrival, we were made to feel warmly welcomed, seen, and truly valued. Special commendation goes to housekeeping, whose impeccable standards ensured that everything—from the rooms to the public spaces—was pristine. The staff are exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure the utmost comfort of their guests. Both breakfast and lunch offered a wide variety of options, and we thoroughly enjoyed a Sunday Roast, which included a glass of wine and a delectable dessert—offering exceptional value. My daughter opted for the Chicken Burger, declaring it the best she had ever tasted. I was particularly impressed by the conference room, which blends functionality with a unique and welcoming atmosphere. The beds were extraordinarily comfortable, with luxurious pillows and linens, and the overall ambiance of the rooms was simply delightful. The hotel's location is equally impressive. Perched atop a hill, it offers panoramic views that are nothing short of breathtaking. From here, you can take in the sweeping vistas of Knysna Lagoon and the iconic Knysna Heads, creating a tranquil, almost surreal backdrop, and adding to the sense of serenity, making it a perfect escape from the bustle of daily life. Wow! Where do I begin... from doing the reservation, check in, the most beautiful spacious room! The very friendly staff, The best food! From starter to the grilled salmon main. Attention to detail everywhere! Top class maintenance on everything. A place to revive..will come back again and again.

the place is GREAT! The manager is so friendly and helpful. Our room was so lovely and spacious. The breakfast was superb. The pool looked great too but it was cold so we didn't get a chance to go in. The manager helped us with recommendations which was super helpful. There's free parking and great security.

What an utter disappointment! Such a beautiful location and such terrible management. We booked and paid in advance for a 50 m2 suite with a king size bed and lagoon views via booking com the day before and were so looking forward to our stay. - At arrival yesterday, the manager told us that our room had magically been downgraded to a small single bedroom with a queen size bed . He said that there must have been an advertisement mistake… As it was already late afternoon when we came back from golf and we were exhausted listening to his excuses we reluctantly accepted our fate in order not to lose more valuable holiday time, The noise from next door during the night on the shared terrace, the foul odor from stale water in the bathroom , no internet etc. did not directly add to our enjoyment. - The day manager this morning excused the “hot” breakfast being cold breakfast and wanted to put us in touch with the American owner of the venue. He let us wait for twenty minutes before we than left this sad place.. . It all comes from the top, as they say, no wonder..

We Stayed for two nights for the Oyster festival , if your visiting Kynsna anytime then this is the place to stay , views over the lagoon are absolutely amazing , rooms superb, food superb, all the staff and owner very friendly and professional , great place great people ,
