Bamboo Bungalows

Amazing stay! Terrific place bang at the beautiful Long Beach. The staff is awesome, thank you very much Coco and Emmi (and the other staff whose names we don’t know but are very nice aswell), you have been a big pleasure helping us and with your kindness. The bungalow is in the middle of the nature very special. The food is delicious, they have a great chef. Every dish is very tasteful. The place at the beach is great for chilling, surfing, swimming in the sea, strolling the Long beach or just watching the amazing sunsets from your lounger. We loved it!

We stayed in a fan bungalow located amongst tall trees that keep the rooms comfortable during the heat of the day. AC rooms also available. The beach in front is great for swimming and beginner surfing. No sand flies while we were there! The staff are very friendly and helpful! Koko and Kao were always sure to greet us by name. The kitchen has a huge variety of dishes at reasonable prices.

We had a wonderful stay at Bamboo. A very special resort because of the junglelike gardens and the pleasant bungalows. The crew of Bamboo Bungalows is very attentive, nice breakfast, great cocktails. Best place for sunsetting at longbeach!

We really liked the location of this place that is situated in the middle of Long Beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. it has one of the better restaurants for the value on the beach and the food is very good. The menu has mediterranean cuisine and the standard Thai fair and of course fish and chips. You can also rent boogie boards surfboards and kayaks that are in good condition.

The owners and staff were all friendly and helpful during my stay. As I don't rent motor bikes as a rule they organised my moto taxis for me as requested. The beachfront was screened off due to constant strong winds and storm activity being the rainy season. Hence, bungalows with seaview had no seaview. Some bungalows are being renovated. It appeared a number/most of the beachfront resorts along the beach were closed altogether for the low season. The resort is well shaded with trees and foliage everywhere. Fortunately, I had booked a villa with garden view. It was clean and spacious. The oscillating ceiling fan kept the room cool enough. I did note though that *********** states a mosquito net and sockets next to bed are provided in villa rooms but not in my villa room. The salt air had caused a problem with my front door's locking mechanism but the owner soon got that sorted out. The outdoor bathroom was large. It only had cold water but there was a sign saying hot water was available for 200 baht per day. I enjoy my warm showers but being solo I could not justify the cost for one shower each day. The restaurant overlooks the beach and has an extensive menu though being low season some items were unavailable but that's common wherever you stay. I had no problems with any of my meals. Be aware the southern half of the beach has sandflies. I would not recommend staying along that part of the beach.unless you have a good supply of coconut oil. I got hammered on my beach walk but I carry a cream to apply to affected spots. The standard moto taxi fare between the pier and the resort was 80 baht. Overall, I had an enjoyable experience.

Für einen sehr entspannten Urlaub zum relaxen genau das richtige. 🌅 Koko und das gesamte Team waren mega freundlich und haben uns sehr verwöhnt. ☺️ danke schön 👍 Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Getränke (ob Smoothie, Bier, Wein,…) waren auch alle toll. Wir hatten in den 5 Tagen immer volle Abwechslung gehabt. Die AC Bungalows auf der Hippie Insel 🏝haben einwandfrei funktioniert. Im der Anlange selber könnte das eine oder andere mal repariert werden - zumal nach Corona auch dann wieder mehr Gäste kommen.
