Den mest efterlängtade resplanen för denna resa. Som ett resultat var rummet som arrangerades av hotellet på ett fantastiskt läge! Skillnad! Allt blockerade havsutsikten, och jag var helt på humör! Dessutom är läget för rummet i byggnad 2 extremt lågt och lutande, och själva miljön är ganska originell Det känns som att rummet är mörkt och fuktigt, och rummet är väldigt mörkt under dagen. (Bild nedan) Vi gick direkt till receptionen för att be om ett rumsbyte Efter en lång process av bråk fick de veta att rummet var fullt och att vi inte kunde ändra det! Om det inte vore för ön skulle jag nog inte bo där! Rummet är verkligen läskigt! Jag bokade hotellet en månad i förväg och det kändes som att de medvetet gav rum till kineser! Senare begärde jag starkt att få byta rum och fick ett rumsbyte nästa dag med en oöverträffad havsutsikt! ! Servicepersonalen inne hade alla thailändska falska leenden. Vi kom tidigare än ett par vita människor, men receptionen checkade in dem först! ! Sedan tittade jag på en hanterare och då kom de för att hantera det åt mig! Inte entusiastisk! Det finns väldigt få kineser på ön, i princip inga! Om du vill komma, se till att skicka ett mail i förväg för att begära ett rum! Bo i byggnad 5.6! Första våningen i byggnad 2 är riktigt mörk! ! Det känns som en thailändsk skräckfilm

Utväg platsen är stor. Ett enormt område längs stranden. Men att nå hit var en stor uppgift eftersom Google-kartan visade oss en annan väg och porten var stängd. Till slut efter 15 minuter nådde vi deras parkeringsplats. Hela proceduren med att checka in och få våra väskor till rummet tog ytterligare 1 timme. Rummet var rymligt och välskött men balkongen var det inte. Badkaret hade ett läckage och vatten skulle rinna av på något sätt även efter låsning. Handkranen (jetspray) i badrummet skulle göra ett allvarligt högt ljud när du använder den. Väckte min man när jag brukade använda toaletten! Hittade också en kackerlacka i rummet som tog en promenad (förväntade oss inte detta när vi bokade ett 5-stjärnigt hotell) kom aldrig över en på något annat hotell i thailand. Utsikten från det högsta Seaview-rummet var hisnande men att ta sig till andra platser som restaurang, strand var lite kinkig, eftersom vi var tvungna att ta en annan bil för att hämta oss och släppa till en annan plats. Frukostalternativet är bra och välsmakande. Helt älskade deras frukostbuffé. Återigen är utcheckningsprocessen lång, särskilt vi var tvungna att vänta på våra väskor (de får väskor till utcheckningsområdet) vi hade ryggsäckar och bar dem inte med oss ​​eftersom vi var tvungna att gå trappor för att nå upphämtningsstället för bilar . (Promenerade mycket efter att ha betalat ett så högt pris, ingen hiss) och vi missade vår färja och var tvungna att vänta ytterligare 1,5 timme på nästa färja vid chong lard pier. De tar också 3000 baht som deposition och returnerar när vi checkar ut! Deras TV hade inga andra kanaler än deras reklamkanal från santhiya resort! Suck.

För det första är det en väldigt kylig och avkopplande plats, du kan känna det när du stiger från motorbåten, miljön är bra, personalen är vänlig, SPA och massage är fantastiskt, vi har en underbar tid här

The experience with Santhiya was great. We stayed in the seawater pool villa for two nights. The room was large and had everything we needed. The view was awesome and we could look at the peaceful sea without any obstruction. While we are vegan, we enjoyed the plenty of vegan options here. For the complimentary breakfast, there was even a corner for vegetarian with around 8-10 options. The staff were friendly and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for more. Will definitely come again!

This island is magical! The service is second to none. The bars, the buffet was delightful, the accomodation is avant-garde yet caters to a higher end crowd. The private boat ride to the island and the arrival at the jetty is going to leave an indelible imprint in my memory ! The reef and fish are just below the jetty and there is the opportunity to see reef crabs. The resort is truly magical, a must find, a must see and something to be treasured. Those who love movies like the Beach, Jurassic Park, Deep Blue Sea, anything acquatic and that meets nature and natural palms could get lost on this island for days. Thr rooms are too creative and luxurious to describe, a must see, subject to availability. Thank you for the privacy, the luxury, the food and drinks and the kind hearted service of the Thai people. Nice location with a good view. Only downside: could not find a good espresso in any of the restaurants or bars.

My family and I stayed at Santhiya for 3 nights! We were amazed with how big this resort was and the many different activities you can do here including paddling, free yoga, and Muay Thai! We loved both the beach and the pool at the top of the resort. The pier is a major plus at this resort as it was beautiful to lap out and watch the sunset! All the staff were very friendly and accommodating! The only downside of this resort is that the rooms were a bit musty and dark since we had garden view rooms. But they did help my parents to relocate room :) While there are multiple restaurants options the menus seem similar and a little overpriced for Thai dishes. There are some cheaper restaurants down the beach that we enjoyed! Overall, we would definitely go back but we would try to get a room that is higher up or facing water. My experience at Santhiya Koh Yao Yai was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all expectations. 1. Tranquil Location & Stunning Views: The resort is incredibly peaceful, with a breathtaking location surrounded by nature. The scenery is simply amazing — a perfect escape from the noise and crowds. 2. Beautiful & Quiet Rooms: The room was calm, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views. The private pool made the experience even more enjoyable. 3. Outstanding Staff: Most of the staff were exceptionally friendly, kind, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Their warmth really made a difference. 4. Minor Issue with Restaurant Credit: There was only one issue during my stay — a misunderstanding with a restaurant staff member regarding the use of the resort credit. Unfortunately, the management handled it poorly by calling in the waiter to prove I was wrong. This approach was unprofessional and left a negative impression, which contrasted with the otherwise excellent service. 5. Amazing Restaurant Experience: The food at the resort was outstanding — delicious, healthy, and with plenty of variety to suit every taste. 6. Fast & Efficient Transportation Within the Resort: The internal transportation service was impressively responsive. On one occasion, I called for a buggy and they arrived even before I hung up the phone! 7. Highly Recommended: I strongly recommend this resort to anyone seeking luxury, relaxation, and a unique experience surrounded by nature. Final Note: I would only advise the management to train the front desk staff to handle situations more gracefully. One negative moment should not overshadow the hard work and excellence of the rest of the team.

The hotel is Thai style. Every exit from the room requires a shuttle, our room specifically needed 2 shuttles in each direction. I recommend finding out before closing the room, in addition, find out what floor the room is on (our building had 3 floors without an elevator)

An amazing resort. The room was very well furnished and spacious. Very impressive. The food was great, especially in the breakfast with a huge selection. The pools were very nice as well as the beach (nothing special about the beach though). The only downsides: 1. The hotel prices (food, service, etc.) do not include taxes, which was very strange and honestly quite annoying because it creates non-rounded prices that leaves you with small coins. Not clear why - it is not the common practice anywhere else in Thailand (that we've been to). 2. The hotel prices (food, service, etc.) are very expensive (comparing to prices outside the hotel). I would recommend to eat in the restaurants outside of the hotel, that are very close by. Also shopping for water and other small things - not in the hotel. But generally we enjoyed our stay a lot and it was a great experience!
