Hotel Sunroute Sopra Kobe

The service was very good and the amenities we can take as many as needed. The food was very good also. Though the staff did not call to remind for our checkout time and we were 30mins late to checkout, the hotel did not charge us since it was New Year as their compliment for their customer. So thank you so much Hotel Sunroute Sopra-Kobe and looking forward to stay here again when we go back here in Kobe 😉

Hotel facilities were okay but the room was not clean. There were an empty drink bottle on the floor and popcorn pieces. Carpet was dusty and smelly.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in Japan — Kobe Sannomiya Candeo Hotel is a total disaster. The front desk staff, especially a middle-aged man, was indifferent and unwelcoming, even showing signs of discrimination. He assigned us the lowest floor room without any explanation. The room was unbearable — filled with a disgusting greasy male body odor. Even turning on the air purifier didn’t help. The pillow was dirty, with visible stains under the pillowcase. At night, it was a nightmare. Water sounds from upstairs, flushing, footsteps, dragging noises, even a girl screaming — all these noises were crystal clear and lasted all night long. It felt more like staying in a ******* hostel than a hotel. Absolutely overpriced and not worth a single cent. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

The breakfast is very good. Location is convenient, good experience.
