This is a lovely family run hotel on the banks of the Rhine with wonderful views of the fortress on the opposite bank. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast and the staff were friendly throughout. It is located in the centre of everything right by the Deutches Eck where the riverside is full of bars and eating places. Good: Parking on site (limited spaces) Brilliant location Lovely breakfast Not so good: Everything is closed down by 10pm No coffee making facilities in room.

In May 2023 we visited Koblenz while on a Rhine cruise. We moored overnight in front of the hotel and had a walking tour of the city as part of the cruise. We loved the city and decided we would revisit the city for the Christmas markets. We therefore booked a five night stay before the boat left. The hotel is in a delightful position on the banks of the Rhine with magnificent views of the fortress on the far bank and the cable car which takes you to it. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. As we overlooked the river we had a nice balcony. Given that it was November and cold, we spent very little time on it! There were no tea or coffee making facilities provided by default but this can be hired for a very reasonable price. There is a lift but, even so, we still had to navigate around 10 steps to get to our room. My wife has to walk using a rollator but was able to manage. A wheelchair user might struggle however. The hotel serves one of the best buffet breakfasts we have experienced anywhere. A wide range of quality food should satisfy any palette. They even provide Prosecco! They do not serve any other meals but there are a good number of good quality restaurants nearby. While there is no bar you can buy a good range of wines and cocktails and there is a mini bar in the rooms. The service provided by the friendly staff was of very high quality. They fielded any problems we threw at them quickly and efficiently. Reception is only manned until 10:00pm so make sure that you plan your arrival time accordingly. As well as its delightful views the hotel is within easy walking distance of most of the popular tourist attractions that this delightful city has to offer.

Great view of the Rhine, really close to the KD Rhine boats. Also right outside the cable car and the Deutches Eck. So supreme location. The staff were attentive. The room was big enough and we went with the Rhine view with balcony. Two compla8nts are the rooms could use a lift and the elevator stops mid landing on the stairs so maybe helps a bit when dragging around luggage if you are on the upper stories, but you can’t avoid stairs.

Busy hotel on the banks of the Rhine. We arrived early which was unfortunate because there were deliveries and laundry piling up in the reception and the staff on duty appeared frazzled! The car park was full and chaotic as well so not a brilliant start. We did manage to unload our cases and parked the car in an underground car park about 10 mins walk away(not cheap 20 euros a day) We did eventually get into our room which was small but clean and had a mini bar which acted as a fridge which we needed as it was hot. The staff were better the next day so suggest not arriving at 2.30 wpould be good! The location is good for a stroll around the old town, very close to the cable car across the river ( a must do attraction) and some very reasonable restaurants close by. If you are going to Koblenz definitely one for consideration. Pay the extra for a river view!

We spent 3 nights at Mohan. We were taken back by the breathtaking views of the river & fortress from our bedroom balcony. The room was a little on the small side but clean and comfortable. The railway station was a short distance by taxi. Most of the attractions were less than 15 minutes walk away. The breakfast was not complimentary and we had to pay extra for it, but it was a good hot and cold breakfast. Unusually, there was not even any tea/coffee making facilities in the room, and once again we had to pay extra for this privilege. The hotel does not have a restaurant for lunch or dinner, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Morjan and would certainly recommend it to others.

Had two rooms here in June 2023. We enjoyed our stay here. Perfect location, breakfast was good, room was clean. Basics done right. No air conditioning and we had to park remotely, which may be an issue for some during the summer, but everything was exactly as advertised and explained on the website. Would stay here again. Great to look out over the Rhine river from the balcony.

The rooms are small and average. Clearly you pay a premium not for the facilities but the location and view. Check-in was friendly, as was any interaction with the personnel, except for breakfast. Very unfriendly person, we did nothing to deserve this kind of treatment.

With a wonderful view on the river Rhine, a small balcony and one of the best breakfasts in a long time, this is the best place for a few days in Koblenz. The rooms can be small, but they have everything you need. Service is friendly and the breakfast deserves 5 stars
