Fragrant Nature Kochi - A Five Star Classified Hotel

Had two nights stay in the hotel at the beginning and the end of our holiday. The hotel was really nice, the rooms were large, with a fabulous rain shower plus toiletries and the beds very comfortable. Fort Kochi is a grey place to explore and the various aires were easily accessible from the hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Fragrant Nature Kochi. The property is beautifully maintained with charming colonial architecture and a peaceful ambiance. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, offering excellent comfort. The staff were courteous, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile, making us feel truly welcome. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool and the scenic views around the hotel. Overall, a memorable and relaxing experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kochi.

I had a wonderful stay at Fragrant Nature Kochi. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the start. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with all necessary amenities. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast. And the rooftop restaurant offered lovely views. The location is perfect for exploring Fort Kochi. The staff at the reception and the restaurant were really helpful. Sandra, Naveen, Abirami, Shalini and Paul have made my stay wonderful with the most appropriate suggestions.

Fragrant Nature is a fantastic choice for those looking to experience Kochi’s charm while enjoying excellent service and comfort. Sandra at reception was particularly helpful—she patiently answered all of our questions and even arranged a private car for our five-hour drive to the next destination, which made our transition smooth and stress-free. The rooftop restaurant was a highlight, offering stunning views over the city and backwaters. The food was good, and the happy hour tea was a unique experience, featuring local live music that added an authentic touch. We did a couple of spa treatments (massage and body mask) that were followed by 10 minutes in the steam room which was amazing. The spa was clean and no frills. The oils and scrubs you could tell were very natural and nourishing. Also, all the toiletries in the bathrooms were so yummy smelling! A short walk away are the Chinese fishing nets, an iconic and must-see feature of Kochi. We also participated in a cooking class with the chef, which was a fun and interactive way to learn about Kerala cuisine. Another cultural gem was the Kathakali performance—a traditional dance that focuses on expressive storytelling. We went early to watch them apply their makeup - very interesting to watch! Before the actual performance, they explained what all of the different facial expressions meant and demonstrated. The hotel arranged this for us. Seeing it up close made us appreciate the depth of this art form. If you want a quiet, well-located hotel with great service and cultural experiences, Fragrant Nature is a great pick.

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights at the start of our tour of Kerala. We received a very warm welcome and while checking in we were given a drink and snacks. The hotel has a beautiful entrance hall and a nice place to sit a while and draw breath. Our room was large, comfortable and well furnished plus a generous bathroom. The roof top pool is the perfect place to relax and take in the views, with eagles flying above and occasionally flying down to take a drink from the pool, magical. Dinner at the rooftop restaurant was amazing with live music accompanying us and the food was very good. Breakfast was served indoors and there was lots of choice, the omelettes in particular were delicious. We had no complaints it was the perfect start to our tour.

We had a two night stay at this beautiful hotel. It was a it's name, embracing nature. Our room was very comfortable and loved the 24-hour gym. However the staff made our stay very memorable. Special thanks to GM, Harik Rishan, who went out of his way to get us wine we fancied. All staff were exceptional, but to mention, a few are Abishek, Sruthy, Jayasurya, Gopika, Roger.
