Amritara Poovath Beachfront Heritage

Set in an calm and serene atmosphere this place is a must visit place for anyone who wants to take a break from the busy life and be at peace for a while. The food is amazing and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Beach is 5-10 mins walk nearby and is so beautiful with shipyard near to ocean. There managerial staff Jiya Thomas and Anna have been helpful throughout making the anniversary decorations and cake for us a cherish and celebration to remember. Thank you all and wishing the best.

Excellent set up. Very kind, courteous caring staff. Enjoyed every moment of our stay. Rooms are spacious, well ventilated, cosy and well furnished. Well maintained. Food was fresh, tasty with reasonably good choice. Service was Excellent, literally with a smile. Would wish to return to this second home any time.

This charming boutique hotel with its authentic rooms ( very modern bathroom) and the lovely pool and excellent breakfast is highly recommended. I stayed 4 nights, 12/5-15/5. The a/c was perfect as was the ceiling fan. In the beautiful open restaurant there were morning breezes plus fans if needed. I chose fresh fruits and vegetable omlette and fresh squeezed juices for breakfast - I am vegetarian. The staff were kind and helpful and when I return to Kochi I will return here. Each morning I swam and did my morning exercises in the pool. Although the hotel was full ( only 10 rooms) I had the pool to myself.

Jaya and her staff were fabulous - highly recommended - nice room very nice swimming pool the breakfast was delightful and the place itself is so nice. Great location on Fort Kochi I would recommend to everyone to have a lovely stay at Amritara !!!

It was the most comfortable stay at The Poovath in Fort Kochi. The property is for people who likes Heritage concept. Well maintained and clean property. Not crowded hence you feel homely. Staff were humble, coordial and a pleasant experience interacting with them. Adjacent to nice beach where one can stroll in the morning/evening. Good food outlets in the beach.

Very sweet and peaceful hotel in super historic district. Walk one block to most of the waterfront you want to see and walk ten or 15 mins to the palace and Matanchery neighborhood or easily get a taxi. Staff was really kind and responsive, helping arrange some massage and Ayurvedic treatments. Especially Jya and a gentleman whose name I didn’t get. Best paratha I’ve ever had in the nicely priced restaurant.
