The property is so beautiful, very friendly staffs, clean neat cottages with beautiful view. Variety of outdoor activities and we liked the longest zip line which was simply awesome..

Beautiful property with uninterrupted views of lush greenery and open sky.You will need atleast 3 days to fully explore the resort and wide range of activities and facilities it offers. It is nestled amidst the lush evergreen rainforest of Coorg.Because the resort is 4000 Feet above the sea level, the property has pretty steep climbs all over. Come prepared if you don't want to rely too much on buggies(though the buggies are just one call away) and enjoy the walk in and around the property. Despite this we saw many elderly people enjoying their stay there which says a lot about the accessibity and thoughtful service. The Resort offers many outdoor activites like ziplining,paintball, kayaking, Archery, Nature's Trail, Rainforest walk etc and also has an indoor games room. They even have a small herb garden and a strawberry garden looked after by a wonderful lady who walked us around the herb garden talking about all the herbs growing there,we also got to eat strawberries, gooseberries from the garden!! I was taken back to my childhood days when i got to eat mulberries from the trees planted there. Our highlight was the Morning Nature's Trail.The walk was guided by Mr. Pradhan - passionate nature lover who shared his knowledge throughout the walk. The service and hospitality at Taj hotels is one of the best in the world, no wonder it is so highly rated. A heartfelt thanks to Ms. Rebita Singha and Mr. Ginil Varghese who took care of every need and made our stay a memorable one. The only area which need slight improvement is the service at the restaurant .They were slightly short-staffed at the dining area due to which the order was taking longer to arrive.Also the breakfast buffet spread wasn't as extensive as Taj Mumbai or Bhubaneshwar. Thank you, Taj Coorg, for an unforgettable stay.

Taj Madikeri - Is a rare blend of all right things at right proportions. Its location is extremely good, the property is so vast, still upkeep is so good. The property is a green haven with wide variety of trees, flowering plants, creepers, butterflies, and many more natural wonders. One can feel so immersive experiencing the nature from Taj Madikeri. Adding to all this, the staff and their attitude is very much positive and pro guest friendly. Only difficluty we faced is different levels and different independent cottages at levels which makes access difficult. The team deserves a special mention - i am infact grateful to the supportive actions of the team. I did a small mistake in booking (I booked 2 days in advance than my intended arrival date) but thanks to the wonderful supportive team, they made me so comfortable. Just on one phone call they changed my reservation date to my arrival date. I wonder how cumbersome this experience would be at other places. Thanks to Mostaque at front office who was extremely helpful in many ways. He held the nature walk for us for few minutes and i felt so grateful for that, as i would have missed very important activity. Rebita Duty manager is so helpful in billing. Pradhan, naturalist is a passionate *** and i am so glad i could meet a *** so passionate abt ecology. Food is amazing - few items we tasted here are best tasted here than any other place, including many other Taj hotels. Appreciate the Chef Raja, whom we met and expressed the amazing feeling of taste. So in all ways, Taj Madikeri is wonderful experience. Leadership deserves appreciation for handling such huge property with care and team with such motivation.

Few staff members had won our hearts special mention of. Rebita at the front desk. She took keen interest and paid attention from our arrival to our activities. Appreciate her detailing. Other few names are from restaurants - Ricky jain, manoranjan, Nilesh and Arti . They increased the level of hospitality to 7 stars. Kudos to the restaurant team also.

This is one of the classiest resort with spacious villas. We booked villa with pool and it was easiest one of the biggest villa I have stayed in India and outside. Villas are designed to give you 270 degree view of the property. Mine was overlooking a pond and thick forested area. Pool is temperature controlled allowing you to use it anytime. Having a proper dining table inside villa allows you to have in room dining. Best part is that it is pet friendly. Walk in woods with our pet was amazing. Service is prompt as they go out of their way to address your needs.

We did stay in Taj Madikeri for my wife's 40th bday and it turned out to be the most memorable one. Rebita Singha ensured that my wife was surprised with a cake and decoration in room Nithin Subbaiah (naturalist) took us for trekking and again it turned out to be the amazing One Loved our stay and will surely visit again (hopefully)
