Echo Beach Hostel recensioner

This hostel was bad. It felt so filthy and it smelled awful. They were blasting music until 1am despite there only being about 3 people in the social area, so unfortunately we couldn’t sleep. We were then woken up at 8am by more obnoxiously loud music. Fair enough during party season if there are lots of people drinking but with 3 people downstairs sat on their own, to have the music so loud just seems ridiculous and selfish! The food was also overpriced and subpar. Wouldn’t recommend staying here at all.

I was only supposed to visit koh phagnan for 4 adays and ended up staying for 8 as I had such a great time! Eco beach has the best vibes it was super sociable it felt like a little community. The staff sky, Felix and joe were absolute babes they were friendly, helpful and a really great time. The local ex pats enjoyed the bar too and gave great reccos for places to visit on the island. There were pre parties for the big events with organised transport which was great as a solo traveller. Loved it. If your reading this you should defo go!!

Cannot recommend enough! Originally booked for 2 nights over full moon, ended up staying over 2 weeks. The main reason for that wasn’t just the perfect atmosphere, delicious food, comfortable surroundings, great amenities, but the STAFF! I cannot thank the team for being so unbelievably amazing. Big shout outs especially go to Mark the manager, Nicky & Sak. Many thanks to all the rest of the team that keep the operation running ever so smoothly. Mark was an absolute pleasure & works very hard to interact with the guests & is a true professional. He’s cheeky charm & charismatic personality was flawless. So thank you Mark for pouring my G&Ts every single day haha! Nicky & Sak. True hosts & ever so lovely. Thank you for looking after me during my stay, you guys were so appreciated xx If you want a home from home with added personality & fun, Echo is the place to be. Hopefully see u guys soon!
