We are fairly easy to please and are in our 60s. I don’t swim, play basketball, or tennis. So far our needs is perfect. The maintenance overall could be better as you can see by the photos. Our room was very clean. We take the taxi because the few times we walked along the road there is a lot of motorbikes ridden by foreigners who obviously are adjusting to a different type of culture and driving. The most dangerous are young who go extremely fast. We’ve spoken to a couple taxi drivers one of which has been over 20 years and he says he usually sees about three accidents a day almost always foreigners. We took an awesome tour with a taxi driver around the entire island. Fed some elephants, went to fisherman’s pier, look at the beautiful beaches everywhere. When we retire we are definitely gonna be looking at this place as a permanent residence. Either rent or buy.

This property was not as it was advertised. The facilities are very run down. We had booked for a month and left after walking around and checking the place out. We didn’t get any refund but felt it still wasn’t worth staying. You will need to rent a car or scooter as it’s not a safe walkable area. There is nothing nearby. A big thumbs down 👎🏻 Our fault for not looking through the reviews. Lesson learned.

Basically , This used to be a very nice complex .That was then but now the majority of smaller ,privately owned apartments are being let using the original advertising photos and promotional information,which is out of date and totally misleading. Some of the larger newer luxury apartments are very nice at a price ! . The main pool area apartments are sub let by owners and most have not been refurbished or modernised. There is no swim up bar ! As advertising stated There is no restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner ! As advertising stated. No cushions on any of the sunbeds and the wooden seating which runs to the side of the pool is rotten and needs replacing . Also, the waterline around the pool is green with mould and should be cleaned . However, i have to say the pool water itself is clean . As a summary , the property is in severe need of a lot of attention to bring it back to the level of appearance and the amenities customer have been told it has and expect in a complex advertising luxury . Granted, not booked through your regular channels, rather a private stay through a friend, regardless (maybe not for all condominiums and villas) my place is near perfect: Positives: 1) Excellent WiFi / Fiber Optic internet with upload / download at +80 Mbps (again, this may vary) 2) Just firm enough bed, not too soft, not too hard. Perfect. 3) Got a washing machine, that is a plus. 4) Nice pool and facilities. Negatives: 5) A bit far from nearest store or 7-Eleven (a good 1,2 km) - you need a scooter or walk for about 12-13 minutes... As a matter of fact, I like it so much, I have decided to stay for at least 12 months...
