Sand Sea Beach Resort recensioner

The Sand Sea Resort is a place where you feel welcome at the very first moment. Especially the front desk is very professional and kind. The rooms are good, especially the bungalows are nice. The pool is also a good place to hang out. The location itself is quiet but not too far from different spots and restaurants. Only thing I can criticize are the pretty steep prices in the restaurant. More than 220 Baht for Fried Rice is just too much in my opinion and on the level of 4 or 5 star hotel prices. In the end we did not use the restaurant frequently. It would be nice if there are at least some affordable light dishes if you're hungry hanging out at the pool ;-) Overall we can recommend this hotel and the lovely staff there.

My time at Sand Sea Beach Resort was overwhelmingly positive, thanks to the incredible hospitality and attention to detail. While there was a small mix-up on the first day—I was placed in a sea-view room instead of the beachfront room I’d booked—the staff promptly corrected the error the next day. Though I wish the transition had been seamless, the rooms were equally priced, and the team handled the situation professionally. Beyond that, the service here is outstanding. The staff’s thoughtfulness surpassed even my experiences at five-star hotels—they genuinely care about guest comfort. One evening when I stayed offsite, they even reached out via WhatsApp to check on me! I regret not catching the names of the help desk team, as they were all exceptional. As for the beachfront room, it was breathtaking. Waking up to floor-to-ceiling views of the ocean felt like a dream. The resort’s atmosphere, combined with the staff’s warmth, made this a memorable stay. Minor rooming issue aside, I highly recommend Sand Sea Beach Resort. They’re clearly dedicated to excellence, and I’d gladly return. A bright future awaits this team!

The staff were lovely. The location was stunning. Good view from the room and bathtub. I only stayed 1 night as the central air con was old and made so much noise I couldn't sleep with it on but it was too hot and humid when off!

The location is very good, not busy and noisy like Chaweng area at all. 7-11 is just 200m from the hotel. Staff were nice and helpful. I got an upgraded room from normal to ocean view type for my parents. The bathtub in my room didn’t work but the rest were really satisfied.

Good hotel, a beautiful swimming pool, and a clean room, but the room was not the same as described. Just prepare for it. Beach is not much suitable for swimming, water is not clear with mud and reefs. Right side of the Lamai Beach much better.

I really liked my two nights here. The service was impeccably friendly and helpful, and the cost per night was veey reasonable. The location was excellent, being right on the beach and only a short walk from the nightlife in Lamai. It was also far enough away that there was virtually no noise pollution. Overall, I would stay here again!

Fabulous hotel with the friendliest staff. We had a cottage right on the beach, small but fine for two people. Breakfast was excellent .

The standard garden view room that is shown in the pictures is not the room you get. You get a hut with a double bed in it which is not very comfortable. No way could a bath fit in it. The roof leaked on our hut, luckily not above the bed so wasn't a big problem, just put a towel on it. There is no where to sit other than a small wooden bench on porch, but not big enough for two people. Small very dated and bodged shower room. Needs renovating. . The small area of the pool had no tiles on it and if you touched it black slime came off. This has now been hidden with a sheet of plywood. The staff are lovely, very polite and smiling and always helpfull. There was a wedding then a bbq on the beach and the staff did a great job. Having said all this we did go back and stay because of the location. Only a few minutes into busy part of lamai and great beach.

From the moment we arrived at the resort, we received the best service and assistance. The room was very big and spacious with big windows for lots of natural sunlight. The resort is right on the beautiful Lamai beach with sun loungers to chill and enjoy a drink. The area is very peaceful and perfect for unwinding. The resort has a massive swimming pool and a beautiful dining area outside. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this resort!

Great view and great staff

Отель, который никому не советую. При бронировании было указано, что номер с видом на море и на фото было море. При заезде оказалось, что номер с видом на кусты и бассейн. В бассейне постоянно толпа людей, которые начинают шуметь с 8 утра. В номере НЕТ ГОРЯЧЕЙ ВОДЫ!!! Там стоит джакузи, которой невозможно пользоваться. Вода теплая, с очень слабым напором, пока она набирается чуть тёплая, сразу же остывает. В душе так же, напор еле брызжет. Сантехника старая, дверь в ванну скрипит так, что ночью просыпался весь отель, когда я ходил в туалет. Из плюсов: хороший бассейн и пляж. Работники не отвечают службе поддержки трип ком и тупо игнорируют все замечания.
