Rapopo Plantation Resort

**A Hidden Gem in Rabaul: Our stay at Rapopo Resort in Rabaul was incredible. The staff's warmth and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, the resort offered breathtaking views of Mt Tavurur, Pidgin island and a glimpse of New Island. The perfect blend of comfort and adventure, from lounging by the pool to thrilling water activities, made my visit unforgettable. The rich culture and welcoming locals added an extra layer of enchantment to the trip. Additionally, we greatly appreciated the complimentary airport pickup and drop-off and the complimentary breakfast for two, which made my travel experience seamless. We were not staying at Rapopo but went for lunch. The staff there are genuinely happy to help in any way they can. They greet guests with a smile. There is a relaxed, casual atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable. The lunch was excellent. Rapopo has a beautiful spot, with a beautiful white sand beach. It is a pleasure to sit on the deck looking out towards the views of the sea & the distant mountains. Rapopo has a wonderful pool & an excellent spa.

This resort is comfortable and away from millions of tourists. It is very authentic and employs local PNG people, which makes the experience special. I like Resorts that don’t feel like you are stuck in a bubble. We went diving which was excellent; and swimming with dolphins was the best I have ever done this, even better than expected.

We had a wonderful week staying at the Rapopo Plantation Resort. It all starts with a very warm welcome from Staff and continues. Daryl and Megan are the best hosts and their staff are friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and our room was huge and very comfortable thanks to Daryl. The resort grounds are beautiful as is the large pool. They have a good on-site spa and a dive shop. There is a courtesy bus service to town or the markets and a free courtesy airport pickup and drop-off service which is just unheard of in Papua New Guinea. Only a small detail would be to upgrade the pillows. This resort stands out from the others in the services they offer and the level of service that is provided. We cannot wait to visit again.

Staying at Rapopo Plantation Resort was an absolutely amazing experience. The resort itself is nestled in a picturesque location, surrounded by lush tropical gardens and overlooking a pristine beach. The views were simply breathtaking, and I felt like I was in paradise. One of the highlights of my stay was the resort's dining options. The on-site restaurants served a wide variety of delicious cuisines. Whether I was in the mood for fresh seafood, international dishes, or local specialties, there was always something to satisfy my cravings. The service at the restaurants was impeccable, with attentive staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The resort also had an impressive range of recreational activities to enjoy. I spent my days lounging by the amazing pool, indulging in spa treatments, and taking part in the water sports offered on the beach. There was never a dull moment, and the staff ensured I had everything I needed. The stunning location, luxurious accommodations, delectable dining options, and exceptional service make it the perfect destination for a relaxing and unforgettable vacation. I cannot wait to return to this little slice of paradise.

We had an amazing time at Rapopo. The beach & their pool is amazing. Staff is super friendly & the food is great too! The swim with the dolphins was definitely the highlight 😍 Our toddler had a blast with all the activities that the resort had to offer.
