Saroj Deep is situated in Kolkata, the Cultural Capital of India. The hotel is very conveniently located right in the heart of the city which makes it a prime hotel for guests stay. The interiors of the hotel and rooms are designed in such a way that gives guests a homely feeling. Front desk is responsive and prompt to guests queries. The rooms are spacious and elegantly designed. The staff ensures that all the rooms are clean, comfortable and relaxing. Fresh linens are provided in all the rooms. The rooms are equipped with television, laundry, internet, refrigerator and laundry service. All the rooms have attached bathrooms with basic toiletries and hot and cold running water. Best in class room service is provided to the guests. The city now enjoys uninterrupted power supply. In case of emergency, doctor on call facility can be availed. Guests can avail car rental service at the hotel. Unmarried / unrelated couples are not allowed. Visitors are not allowed in guests' rooms Booking should be done at least 48 hours prior to check in date & time. For room key S.D. Rs. 1,000/- need to be deposited which will be refunded at the time of check out if no loss occurs. On line credit card payment facility is available. SAROJDEEP guest house is located in a posh residential area of South Kolkata. It is very near to commercial market place . Many famous restaurants are located within walking distance of the guest house. We stayed in deluxe room , the size of the room is quite big.The size of the attached bathroom is also quite big having a spacious bath tub. The guest house has a homely atmosphere which we liked very much. The proprietor Mr. Banerjee is very friendly and takes personal care of the guests. Family feels safe and so we have stayed there on many times earlier. I shall recommend to all those who are visiting Kolkata with family.

My family and I have stayed at Saroj Deep a number of times. There are several reasons which make Saroj Deep our top favourite in Kolkata. It's located in the heart of South Kolkata, at Hindustan Road. It's one of the oldest, posh, safe and homely areas of Gariahat. There are several eateries, utility shops/stores, hospitals in and around the guest house making it very well-connected and networked. Most importantly, the rooms are very comfortable with all basic amenities in place. Mr. S N Banerjee, owner of Saroj Deep is extremely kind and warm hearted and welcomes his guests like family. We are blessed to have such a hospitable stay at Saroj Deep in Kolkata, every time.

Location is rich and center of the city, room is clean and highly secured, behavior is excellent. Lots of option there to take foods from outside.

Very bad experience, dirty room, deny early morning check in, mosquitoes every where, poor service, no water for drinks

Location, facilities, behaviour everything was fine. Owner was also good. It was very easy to reach. Even owner and staff gaves us information about my examination center. They were too polite!
