I hope this compliments will reach to the eye of RaajKutir Management team The entire team has made my stay incredible! And all these names deserve my gratitude and management team please look into their promotion 1. Rikki - very professional, excellent English , he represents a good team lead and amazing personality which all Indian hotel should take as example ( also a very good looking *** ). He makes me and mom feels safe and comfortable at all time with all the needed informations updated time to time. 2. Prakash and Raj - both my favourite front office team whom always at their best. I mean these two boys need attention from management as they really give 101% to their service. One night i was terrified due to some noise outside my room and Prakash was in front my door seconds after i called the receptionist. Hoping the lady receptionist name starts with K could smile more. 3. Dearest kitchen team Chef Bisvanjit - i hope i got the name right Such a sweet chef whom always accommodates my requests in regard to food and also gave us an opportunity to cook in their kitchen. Chandan - this guy also deserves a big thumbs up ! He is always on his best smiling face and giving his 101% to his guest. Bravo Chandan ! Now to 3 special ladies : Maumita ,shayshree ,unnati - in all my experience staying with Taj hotel these 3 girls has caught my attention. They always by my side during breakfast and because of them i actually learned a-lot about Kolkata and its best side. From Durga pooja to shopping information they gave me the best guide so a big thank you ladies ! Lastly in RaajKutir i had an amazing Spa experience by Manipur lady ( i forgot her name sadly ) Raajkutir should be an example in every aspect to all indian Hotels as it delivers top notch hospitality. Overall good stay, special thanks for Mr Prakash at the reception. Food was good at East india company. However we have grave concern about the street dogs that move around the property and very much at the Courtyard. It was an unfortunate incident that during our first night stay on October 4, 2024, 2 street dogs chased my wife- she was scared and got freezed in panic. We have videos of a dog moving around very openly at the courtyard. This was already reported to Mr Raaj, although he tried to justify and wanted to show it as normal but later agreed about the seriousness of the situation as the hotel would be held responsible for any mishaps, specially when families visit the property with kids. Hope the management takes care of it asap.

We recently went to The East India Room to celebrate a special occasion, and the experience was truly wonderful. The ambiance was unique and beautifully arranged, giving us a royal feeling and immersing us in the rich culture of the Jamindar tradition. The staff members were extremely polite and hospitable, displaying excellent interpersonal and communication skills. We want to extend our gratitude to Mr. Mrinmoy, Mr. Abhik, and Mr. Kamal for their attentive service. They promptly fulfilled all our requests and provided helpful recommendations regarding the menu. The food was delicious and authentic, offering a truly delightful dining experience. The entire property was stunning, and we would highly recommend visiting for a chance to indulge in era-authentic cuisines from the British Colonial & Bengali Zamindari era at The East India Room or enjoying a special Victorian High Tea at the Loafer’s Cafe. Rest assured, a visit to Raajkutir guarantees an extravagant and palate-tingling culinary experience at Raajkutir.

The moment I entered the heritage property I was awestruck with the grandeur that took me back to the Colonial Bengali Zamindar days. Every corner has been beautifully restored. The rooms are wonderfully done with the perfect Anglo-Bengali vibe, felt like I am time travelling back to the 19th. The hotel staff is very hospitable, they treat you like guests more than customers. The housekeeping did an impeccable job, the reception staff was very efficient. Coming to the breakfast, it's truly one of a kind with a diverse range of options starting from continental to South Indian and traditional Bengali breakfast like ghugni, Loochi reminded me of my mother's food. The staff with a smile on their face throughout, were always ensuring the guests got their choices during breakfast and went above and beyond to cater to their needs. I have to particularly mention Chandan the restaurant manager, Munshi and Moumita who managed the breakfast buffet seamlessly. I look forward to come back again to Kolkata with my husband, and If any place that we choose to stay in future will always be Raajkutir.

Azizul, Manoj and Unnati catered to us at the east India room restaurant. The food was great and Azizul’s suggestions were very helpful. They all were very courteous and welcoming. We loved our overall experience there. The ambiance was nice and calming.
