Amazing heritage hotel in the heart of the city. Absolutely loved our stay. Food here is mouthwatering. Wish could have eaten more here. Outstanding service. Would definitely stay here in a heart beat. Very close to shopping and must see places.

Great staff and well mannered. Had a great 3 days. Special thanks to House keeping executive Avijit and his team. The hotel is very near to most of the main attraction sites and also near to the park street. If you are coming for US Visa interview must choose.

I wanted to like the Astor. I’m generally a fan of heritage properties, but this one falls short. Don’t stay here if you want to sleep. There’s a nightclub in the back and a bar with a patio on the front side and both stay open REALLY late. After two sleepless nights, they did upgrade me to a quieter suite, but that won’t solve the problem for everyone. They are more interested in being a nightclub than a hotel. When I came down at 2:30 am to complain, the lobby smelled like an ashtray and there were a lot of drunk young people talking in loud voices. The desk staff is nice, but powerless to do anything about the situation. For a hotel at this price point, the breakfast buffet is pathetic and the service is slow and doesn’t seemed to want to be bothered. I chose the Astor because of its location and reviews, but certainly wouldn’t stay there again.

I have visited this place with my friends on Ashtami. It’s a nice place food quality is good specially cingri malaikari. Staff is very helpful and cordial, Sohom & Sujon they both very well behaved. Drinks is also available here if anyone likes to have beer or any cocktail also can have the same.

Food was great.The interior of the hotel was vintage and felt really good.Great to come in with a family.The hotel hospitality was great and staff was overall friendly.Special thanks:Jagadish,Avijit and also Devashis and also room service.

Location : 5/5 Value for money : 4/5 Hospitality : 3/5 This was our 2nd visit at the hotel. We live the heritage feel of the property. The location in South kolkata is perfect. Although, felt that they could do much better in terms of hospitality.

Good service, houskeeping was good Take care of you. First time came to hotel But had a good experience. No issue found. Very easy experience from checkin to check out. Manger was very friendly and willing to listen to any kind of request. Subrata was good with houskeeping and avijit was also good
