Club Mahindra Ashtamudi

I recently stayed at the resort and had a truly wonderful experience. One of the highlights of our stay was the Tea Masterclass session held in the lawn area. It was such a refreshing and engaging activity! The team beautifully explained the different types of teas, their preparation methods, and even shared some interesting insights about each variety. It wasn’t just a regular tea session, it was an interactive and memorable experience that brought all the guests together. We’re extremely happy with the overall hospitality and the thoughtful touches added to make our stay special. Highly recommend participating in this session if you’re visiting the resort!

Great guide by Mr Lineesh, He gave very clearly details about the mangroves island. We had a great experience when a heavy storm took place and he reached us in safety place. Our guide made it a memorable fun ride. He was very helpful and even took us great photo for us. It is such a beautiful place must visit it. Such a pleasant vibe

We recently had a fantastic family vacation at Club Mahindra Ashtamudi. The resort has picturesque view of beautiful Ashtamudi lake. Daniel from Activity center team helped us to organise speed boat, Canoeing boat trip to Monroe island with Akhil. This was a memorable experience for us. The food at Ripples resturant was great. The executive chef Suresh Pillai is very friendly and made sure we enjoyed every meal.

A picturesque property abutting the lake with lots of greenery.Well spread with lake facing cottages and rooms.Cottages are compact and old.Activity zone is limited and smaller compared to other Club Mahindra properties.Food packages are expensive.Food options in the restaurant is moderate.Chicken dishes smell of fish , probably made in the same oil as fish dishes.The only coastal restaurant named "Finz" is deserted and food is terrible.Papad was served with dead ants.The staff are uninterested and donot recommend any dishes nor restaurant's specialities. There are a few restaurants and shops outside the property gate . Unfortunately there is no provision of booking a pvt cab on our own from the resort but only through the hotel travel desk ,due to alleged local union tie up.This forced option on the guests is definitely unacceptable and extremely poor experience. Local sight seeing and boating facilities by the resort is good though.

We had a great stay at Club Mahindra, Astamudi. It is located adjacent to the beautiful Astamudi lake. The place is serene and quiet. All the staff are very hospitable and welcoming. They are accommodating and customise to give everyone a unique experience. Overall we had a great vacation.

Taken for Granted.... Club Mahindra is known for the Hospitality service and I had good experience with other properties but to be very honest its not up-too mark. Before coming this property I had high hopes ... but once I reached I am very much h disappointed. Rooms are small specially the floting vill quite small, service is very slow and not up to mark.. When j called for room sleeper but surprisingly I got answer that they don't have it. After that when j asked its a 4star resort or what then in 10 mints I have received. In Rooms we don't get tissue paper. For luggage delivery its take 1 hr. And if u need anything in ur room you need to call 2-3 time. In restaurant staff are good and happy to help. Chef personally take dare of your food. Food rates are high but you get quality and good spreed. In short very low class service aprt from food.
