Club Mahindra Ashtamudi

We recently had a fantastic family vacation at Club Mahindra Ashtamudi. The resort has picturesque view of beautiful Ashtamudi lake. Daniel from Activity center team helped us to organise speed boat, Canoeing boat trip to Monroe island with Akhil. This was a memorable experience for us. The food at Ripples resturant was great. The executive chef Suresh Pillai is very friendly and made sure we enjoyed every meal.

A picturesque property abutting the lake with lots of greenery.Well spread with lake facing cottages and rooms.Cottages are compact and old.Activity zone is limited and smaller compared to other Club Mahindra properties.Food packages are expensive.Food options in the restaurant is moderate.Chicken dishes smell of fish , probably made in the same oil as fish dishes.The only coastal restaurant named "Finz" is deserted and food is terrible.Papad was served with dead ants.The staff are uninterested and donot recommend any dishes nor restaurant's specialities. There are a few restaurants and shops outside the property gate . Unfortunately there is no provision of booking a pvt cab on our own from the resort but only through the hotel travel desk ,due to alleged local union tie up.This forced option on the guests is definitely unacceptable and extremely poor experience. Local sight seeing and boating facilities by the resort is good though.

We had a great stay at Club Mahindra, Astamudi. It is located adjacent to the beautiful Astamudi lake. The place is serene and quiet. All the staff are very hospitable and welcoming. They are accommodating and customise to give everyone a unique experience. Overall we had a great vacation.

We had a fantastic experience at the Ashtamudi Club Mahindra Resort. The resort is beautifully located, with a great ambiance that perfectly blends with the backwaters, nature, and surrounding scenery. It's truly a peaceful retreat. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a well-maintained bathroom that added to the overall pleasant stay. There are so many activities to enjoy here, but the highlight for us was the early morning motorboat ride. The traditional boat ride exploring Munroe Island, with its mangrove forests, was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely delicious, offering a wide variety and a great range of options to suit different tastes. Everything was flavorful and fresh—definitely one of the best meals I've had at a resort! Overall, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at Ashtamudi Club Mahindra Resort. It’s perfect for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting while enjoying great food and activities. Highly recommended!

It was the most thrilling and wonderful experience. Our guide and speed boat driver Mr Akil Sivan was very knowledgeable. He educated us on mangroves, the origin of the name ashtamudi, formation of the islands, the lifestyle of fishermen etc. The peaceful and quiet sunrise was so serene and wonderful. Club mahindra offers a great package for an outstanding experience and stay. Our speed boating ride followed by visit to monroe island was a rich experience. Our guide Akhil and his team ensures we get our fulliest time. They shared a lot of information on surrounding and past history. It is a must to do activity if you are in ashtamudi, watching sunrise on a boat is serene. Thank you Akhil and team club mahindra for great experience
