Great place, good and big rooms… food was good as well …Best is the Location for this it gets full 10 out of 10 . Property is really massive it has too much of walking to reach between pool/beach side and to the room or reception area .We were big group really end enjoyed this property.

I thought it would be wrong not to share my experience at La Baie des Tortues Luth (Turtle Bay) just offshore from Libreville in Gabon. Unusually, my business trip extended over a weekend Libreville. Rather than stay at the hotel in the city, on the recommendation of my colleagues, I booked two nights at this unique beach resort adjacent to the Pogara National Park. This resort is a short speedboat ride from Libreville. This place is amazing … a few bungalows, fun and family oriented, the whole place is a special, unique vibe. Staff is awesome, the rooms are beautiful, great food with emphasis on what nature provides. Yasser CHEKAYRI the GM is the perfect host . The pool is a very animated place on Saturday, the beach bonfires were mesmerizing. Elephants, buffalos, and at the right time of the year endangered leatherback sea turtles arrive at the beach to lay eggs. Just what I needed, must be repeated

I was incredibly lucky to stay 10 nights at this stunning spot in the heart of Pongara National Park. The beach, which resides between the dense tropical forest and the Atlantic ocean, is very well maintained. At night, I took a walk with a team from the park management and we saw turtles nesting all along the coast. At dusk, about an hour before the sun sets, the hotel organized a mini safari inside the forest and I had the chance to see 7 elephants, 2 herds of buffalos and many birds. Gabon is really the last eden of Africa. The diversity of fauna and flora can be witnessed from the moment one sets foot. The hotel has a well balanced food menu and all the meals were cooked to perfection. The rooms are spacious and equipped with beautiful furniture, air condition, hot water, a balcony and the bed is super comfortable. The hotel offers a selection of activities including fishing trip but its also possible to fish right from the shore. In fact, there is high probability to catch a medium size trevally by just tossing the line around. Lastly, I want to thank all the staff who were very welcoming and always smiling and eager to make your stay an excellent one. They were always very informative and helpful. If you plan your trip to Gabon, do not miss La Baie Des Tortues. You will not regret it a bit.

J'ai passé un bon séjour de 1 semaine avec ma famille et c'était magnifique , le personnel est adorable. Je recommande vivement la baie des tortues. C'est a refaire des que possible. La traversée en bateau ne prend que quelques minutes. Merci la baie des tortues.

Un scandale : quasi 500000 fcfa (or pris d un palace ) pour ne rien dormir car aucun respect et musique boum boum très forte toute la nuit Une baignoire HS Le site est magnifique Le personnel est très gentil mais les prestation ne sont pas au niveau de la promesse et du prix demandé qui exige que les logements soient checkés AVANT la mise en location Autre point positif : plombier très réactif et présent dans les 5 mn de l’appel

Nous avons passé une belle journée en famille, le cadre est très agréable, les plats du restaurant sont copieux et très bons. Je déconseille le Safari en saison sèche car les animaux sont rares, je pense que le tarif cette activité pourrait être réduit sur cette période.

Très beau cadre et hôtel à faire quand on est au Gabon. Les +: le cadre, beauté du paysage, lieu isolé et calme, dépaysement garanti. Les -: nourriture pas au niveau du cadre et du prix, les chambres demandent à être rénovées. En couple ou en famille on y passe un très bon w end. Ridha Y
