Mc Arancia Resort & Spa Hotel

First I would like to say is don’t always pay attention to negative reviews. Before I went on holiday I had bad reviews in my mind and was kind of dreading it. But safe to say it was far from the experience I had, on behalf of myself and my family we had a really nice stay the staff was very helpful and a delight for all the children and us adults. Our rep Mahmut was very helpful and made things very understanding when it come to questions about day trips out and general questions, very down to earth man and we was comfortable to leave our holiday plans in his hands without having any worries. The food in the hotel was very delicious and a wide variety for everyone there was a lot of food you couldn’t not indulge in it all. The rooms where very clean and over all the hotel Was very clean and very looked after, would definitely go back again. The shopping malls are not too far from the hotel, and also good transport to go into Alanya centre. Thankyou to all the staff who looked after myself and my family throughout our stay.

Great service and lovely food, the amount of choice is amazing. Fantastic environment. Friendly staff and entertainment team. Day time activities like water polo are perfect and everyone gets involved. Clean and comfy rooms. Extremely happy with my time here.

We came for the first time to Turkey and had an amazing time! The entertainment was great and got everyone involved. The room and amenities are perfect and the food is lovely. Everyone in the hotel is so kind and always smiling, specifically Rico who is amazing! I would absolutely recommend it. And we will definitely be coming back soon!

Arrived 22:00 Five guests got given room with three beds plus pull out with pins showing. Asked for extra bed and went for evening snack. No lights were on in dining hall only over the soup serving area. And once seated you got to share your meal with cats climbing over the tables and eating practically from your bowl !!! Waited till 1:30 am for extra bed and that was with three reminders … Blanket in room with rather suspect brown stain on it … Breakfast looked like last nights dinner chopped up and served cold as salad … Again cats allowed in restaurant all day and all night … From day one kids complained the swimming pool water hurt their skin and after two days they looked like they had scales all over, and complained constantly about how sore it was . The pool Never smelt of chlorine and we now believe that as the hotel was closing they stopped testing the pool To save money … Slides only open for certain parts of the day. Entertainment was non existent. Out of ten days there ( we had to move for last four days reason for this is on the on the beach review page ) only two nights in the amphitheater and that was hotel staff dressing up !!! The entertainment manager tried but was always told to end anything early !! Cats around pool popping all the inflatable but thankfully there’s a shop on site selling more !!!!! This hotel is two star at best. … when we got to our new hotel the children skin improved and they no longer complained about the water stinging etc .. when I complained about the stray cats everywhere I did get corrected.. they are not strays the hotel Has seven cats !! This is never mentioned in any of the advertisements for this hotel. I am allergic to cats as are many others this is probably something they should mention …

The hotel is great, lovely rooms too. The staff are unbelievable, a great laugh and so friendly Rico is one of the best, took a group of us out clubbing and brought us back safely Good entertainment on the night. Mini disco for the kids. Bingo and live entertainment for adults afterwards Would definitely come again

This hotel has been advertised as a 5 star hotel but I would not give this anymore than a 3 star. The rooms were very basic and we had a cockroach in our room. The food was awful in the main restaurant, there was no variety and we ended up leaving the hotel everyday to get food. The snack bar was reasonable and we would happily eat here for lunch. Reception staff were not very helpful we had family with us who asked 4 times for there door to be fixed as it did not close properly and this was never done over the whole week we were staying. The entertainment was also not what is expected of a 5 star hotel. Overall the hotel really let us down, especially as this holiday was for a family members engagement.
