White Olive Marine Aquapark

Just returned from a week here and have few complaints. We have only ever done all inclusive once when our eldest (now 10) was a baby so we went with that in mind, all inclusive is never going to be super high standard. Food; we were pleasantly surprised that we found something each meal that all of us could eat (family of 5). I really loved how their pizzas were made fresh from scratch, slightly eased the guilt of kids living off it all week.... With regards to the previous comment re: allergy, although it was all very poorly labelled, having 2 children with an anaphylactic peanut allergy, WE as parents are hyper vigilant of what we choose to allow them to eat, knowing full well language and culture barriers are a risk. But we did not find this to be a problem. Food does become repetitive but in all honesty, we all know that about all inclusive don't we? Tried the al la carte on our final night, and the change of scenery was welcome, and the food marginally better. The rooftop terrace is in the process of being furnished ready to open, views are stunning up there. Rooms; we had a 2 bedroom family room, with 2 separate balconies. We found them immaculately clean and well maintained, even by greek standards! Yes there were ants in our room, but I believe that isn't preventable in all honesty. When guests are taking food and drink from the restaurant and leaving plates and cups in the common areas, they're contributing to the problem. Make sure any snacks are well packaged and you'll be fine. Beds were comfy and the air-conditioning was fab, 2 units one in each room which was good as kids preferred not to have theirs on. We appreciated daily room cleaning and fresh towels, nowhere else have we ever been offered clean towels daily. Entertainment; other than the mini disco, which my youngest LOVED, Entertainment was poor. It wasn't through lack of enthusiasm from staff, they're a really lovely team. But ideas and budget are lacking. We often went off to our room by 9 or 10. It's quite windy in the Entertainment area which I'd imagine puts many off, as quite chilly once the sunsets. Drinks; beer was fine, wine was meh, drinkable but not enjoyable. Local unbranded spirits were fine, they could make the cocktails much better if they tried, they're very basic, more like a spirit and a mixer . I saw someone mention slushies, I noticed one had been delivered to the lobby bar so hopefully that's in the near future. Nea4 the end of the week they'd opened up some new arcade machines and had new park equipment delivered, and that all looks lovely. The gelateria is an extra charge, but actually we didn't mind that too much. Nicer ice cream choices and crepes or waffles, and reasonable priced too. We didn't use the gym or spa so not able to comment. The lobby area is gorgeous, we spent many evenings relaxing and drinking in there. The location was the main let down for us. Altho we were aware of this before we went, we didn't anticipate the price of

The staff at the White Olive hotel were very forthcoming, friendly and professional. The room was consistently cleaned and the food was amazing especially they had a great vegetarian option. I could see that the hotel has alot potential and I would highly recommend this hotel. The only downfall was the gym's equipment needed to be upgraded. We also hired a bikes and it was easy to get to Kos town, Zia and other places.

Lovely hotel, pools amazing for young kids, only downside I would say is they don’t have a slush machine, my kids love a slush on holiday and unfortunately there was none on offer. Also to have to pay for ice cream on an all inclusive holiday is a bit strange?

Incredibly disappointed in the stay we had at this hotel. Not only did it not live up to expectation, it is unsafe and most definitely not a 4 star resort. From the moment we checked in we encountered slight inconveniences like there being no safe in the room, no duvet on one bed, and aircon not working. However these were minimal compared to the rest of the hotels issues. My baby has a milk allergy and I was told that everything in the restaurant will be clearly labelled with allergens. This is not the case. Some food is labelled and some isn’t which led to my baby consuming a food item with milk on the first day. We then spoke to management who made it clear that we will not have this issue again and was told to ask to speak to the chef at every mealtime. We then asked for oat milk from a member of staff who had no idea what we were asking for and told us that the chef was busy when we requested to speak to them. They then proceeded to place a boiling bowl of milk in front of my baby to which she grabbed and burnt herself on. The next day we witnessed the chef at the pool bar handling raw meat and dishing out the salad with the same glove. We also found a needle sticking out of my 3 year olds headboard on his bed. We took my son to play in the park which is inside the kids club to which we found numerous rusty nails loose on the floor and electrical cables which we picked up and handed to the member of staff. The cleanliness is most certainly not 4 star either. Expect an ant infestation in the room on arrival. This matter wasn’t helped by the fact that the terrace door had a 1cm gap at the side to allow creatures in. We also came back to our room one afternoon to find the terrace door wide open. Luckily nothing had been stolen. The majority of these issues we discussed with hotel staff and received just an apology. However I was shocked upon check out that the member of staff didn’t even ask us if we enjoyed our stay or if we would be returning. Unfortunately due to these major safety issues I wouldn’t even award this hotel a 3 star. We will not be returning. However to end on a positive note, jet2 staff have been incredible and special shout out to Connie at reception at the hotel and the bartenders at the pool bar in the evenings who always made my son a special kids cocktail. Thank you.

Enjoyed a lovely few days here, great pool, staff friendly and food was varied and enjoyable. Cocktails were great and the desserts! Beach is small and rocky. Rooms clean and modern with small fridge and hairdryer dryer. Recommend going to Tigaki beach for a beach day and Kos Town for shopping.

Bit confused this hotel seems to have shut down early 2024 but customers are writing they had a good time here in late 2024? Has this hotel reopened ? Would be great to book for 2026 hope to see that it has reopened looks like a lovely hotel and other reviews are outstanding
