Mitsis Family Village

We arrived late Thursday 24th April for a 10 day holiday, whilst there may have been some technical issues with the pool for a couple of days, it was soon resolved. The hotel team are simply the best I have experienced. Nothing is too much for them, all of them are happy, greet you and are really good fun. The rooms are fab, I had an upgrade to superior sea view room with sharing pool and it is simply fabulous. The food is good, whilst it is buffet, there is always something to eat and it’s fresh. Location is great, only a shuttle or short walk from the beach. A massive thank you to Miltos the general manager and the front of house team, you are all amazing and I would highly recommend the family village. You should all be very proud, an amazing holiday and I am sad to be going home.

The view was the best!room 870 swim up room. couldn't have asked for more only here for 4 nights but as the previous review says exactly that from us aswell quality of the food is good but not massive choice loved the fresh fish everyday and also the pizza and the gyros down at the beach.the hotel should cater some for kids as wasn't much choice on that side of it from what we noticed but we didn't have our with us this trip .would definitely go back for the room and view every morning...we also done the 3 islands trip through Dougie the rep which was a brilliant day out recomend that .

Rooms 80" all falling apart, food repetitive and very salty. Beach area is a plus with Pizza and pitas being served on the beach plus drinks. Most of the staff was very pleasant except receptionist, 2 morning we had no water in the room. I went to report it but before was gentleman reporting the same and once she was told about he lought with her colleges about it once the gentleman left.

I don't feel the photos on website are a true reflection. The place is very dated. I did not enjoy the food or the dining experiences it was very hectic loud and busy and food not good. Window into bathroom you can see into fron communal hallway and you could see people in shower. Cleaner's didn't seem to clean only make beds and replace towels, only 2 bath towels provided each day and 2 hand towels for a family of 4. Drinks very watered down. We had a lot of mould on our curtains and we had to request they replace them. Nothing was explained to us we had to figure everything out for ourselves. I do not feel this is a 4 * establishment I would say 3* max. One day at the pool it was covered with ants due to all the dirty cups and glasses not having been cleaned up and we had to ask for it Al to be cleaned . Service was not great, got a bit of attitude a couple of times and one particular guy on reception looks like he hates his job. The Mitsis Norida hotel down the hill was very nice beautiful pools. Lovely bars good looked much much better. The beach was lovely

THIS IS YOUR ULTMATE GUIDE AND REVIEW TO MITSIS FAMILY VILLAGE . On arrival we were greeted by Michael who kindly helped me with my cases in to reception and then we approached reception and handed over our passports and then Michael carried our cases to our room . The rooms them self are fine , I get where some people have said that some of the rooms could do with a lick of paint but no complaints from me . We stayed in a twin room consisting of 1 double bed ( 2 single mattresses together ) and one single bed in your room you will find a bath room , your living space , slippers , a safe , a mini bar which is topped up every 2 days with beer and soft drinks is including water ( and surprisingly enough this comes free of charge ) also there is a safe which again the safe key is free ( again I was really shocked , I have never stayed anywhere where this has happened . We had quite a spacious balcony facing the sea . We got settled in to our room and it was time to investigate . We went back to reception area where you will find male / female toilets and a games room , just passed reception you will find the main bar where you can drinks form 10am till close serving everything from hot drinks , local beer ( Magnus) wines , cocktails and kids cocktails my daughter particularly liked the pink lemonade also in this are is a gentleman servicing ice cream and pancakes literally all day and night again this is all included in your price . Keep walking down from there and you will find the restaurant, now the guys and girls working in here are just unreal I my self worked over in Spain for 3 years so I know what it takes but these guys are so welcoming I my self would like to point out the 2 guys running most things in there I think one of them was called angelino but I could be wrong but every day was a hand shake and one day I even got a man hug 😂. Breakfast is wha they call an American buffet and lunch and evening meal is a full buffet , the food it’s self is fine and probably the only thing I would point out is they could do more for children ( sausage , fish fingers and more pizza would be a good start ) but like I say this is not a complaint just an observation . And one more thing to add to all the parents reading this stop allowing your children to take more than there going to eat for example the pancakes on a breakfast time is a favourite but one morning I saw one kid he must of been about 10 and he most have put 25 pancakes on his plate which he was never going to eat and everyone else has to wait for more to be made . Outside from the main bar is the main swimming pool which is made with salt water there was never a bother with getting sun beds but here’s what surprised me the most if your patient enough you will get table service all day , the guys working the floor never stop all day , actual table service from your sun bed all you other hotels please take note . Great location, easy to get to Kardamaina via bus just outside the hotel and quick to get to the beach too. Beautiful view of the sea and mountain. 10/10 recommend, something to do for everyone.
