Akti Palace Hotel

Loved everything about the Akti Palace (room, staff, food, cleanliness), except the sunbeds. They were far too low and difficult to get on and off and very uncomfortable (no cushions and metal framed made it extremely hard, to lie on, for any length of time).

I spent a great time there. All staff was very friendly and helpful. I really like this place and highly recommended to visit. Waitresses in drink bar doing excellent job. Food was fresh and tasty every day, room keep clean every day. I think must visit again this place. Wish you all the best my friends from Akti.

We arrived and were greeted by a lovely man on reception and were shown to our room by George. Both lovely giving a perfect welcome Room clean inside but panoramic window filthy. Balcony almost too small to sit on for two people. Fridge restocked with water beer and wine each day. No aircon working on first night. It was fixed when reported but made for a tiring first day. Impossible to find sunbed around the noisy pool. Beach horrible. Incredibly stoney and virtually impossible to get in the water. There were sandbags to walk along which I discovered later in the holiday. Tried to change hotel but was told no. Later we found the adults only section. This was lovely. Peaceful lovely clean pools and the same food offering throughout the day. Not beach front but the beach was so grotty we didn't care. All the sunbeds everywhere seemed old and uncomfortable Many broken and saggy and as basic as they could be. The umbrellas in the adult section have little tables around them. Many were broken and were covered in bird poo. they were never cleaned or mended. See photos. All inclusive drinks were a bit of a joke. Perhaps I would give 2* for that. All the cocktails were pre made and the wine utterly undrinkable. Staff were in the main friendly and fabulous.
