Ikos Aria

From the moment you arrive you can feel yourself relax. The hotel accommodation, grounds, facilities and restaurants are all beautifully appointed and everything has a luxurious feel about it. The food is superb, lunches at Ouzo are something special and our evening meal at Provence probably our favourite but all very, very good. The staff are all lovely without exception and incredibly friendly and professional. We commented a number of times on how this really set the hotel apart, the people that work there. It was incredibly hot when we were there and it must be hard to work in that heat but you never got that impression! Special mention for Karina, the hotel manager. She was so hard working, always seen around the resort checking in on the guests. She makes you feel very looked after and she obviously sets the tone for the hotel with her professional and friendly manner. Our two daughters enjoyed the kids club, and especially mentioned Dominique and Macy as being really good fun! All in all a wonderful stay.. it is very hard to leave but we will certainly be back!

We have just returned from the most magical week at Ikos Aria, hands down the best all inclusive I have ever stayed at. We had a lovely room in the main building overlooking the island and church in the bay, I travelled with my two sons and there was ample space for the three of us, extremely comfortable beds and spotless accommodation. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. We sat at the beach most of the time which was uncrowded despite full occupancy and were very well looked after by Dimtrius and his wonderful beach team. All of the restaurants were excellent, a particular favourite was Ouzo overlooking the beach where we feasted on delicious Bbqs and Greek mezze washed down with the best French rose. Ouzo is managed expertly by the fabulous Anastasia and wonderful waitresses such as Maria. The boys made use of the free bikes to get around every day and really enjoyed all the football which was well organised by the excellent Olga and her sports team. Lots of time was spent on the pedalos , snorkelling off the little island. We went on the sunset cruise one evening which was magical and also included. The management team were on top of every part of our stay especially Diego Guardamino who went out of his way to check on us to make sure everything was going well during our stay. The concierge service was also extremely helpful and even arranged a surprise when my son got some good news from home. We could not fault a minute, do not hesitate to book,it's the most perfect place for a special family holiday and we can't wait to return.

I had heard such good things about this hotel and the Ikos brand in general, I was very excited to be going for a week with my husband and 1 year old son. Unfortunately we had issues from day 1 that we are still complaining about since being home (and haven't been resolved). Issues: Broken air conditioning- our air conditioning would not get below 23 degrees even when set to 16 (the lowest possible setting) which we could see on our thermometer we bought with us. We reported this after the first night and were repeatedly fobbed off by staff and told it was fixed (when it wasn't) and then that there was no issue with it. After 4 nights we were moved to a different room (after having to make a real fuss as we were being ignored) and this was fine and the air conditioning worked! So it shows there was an issue! This made us all have bad sleep for the first 4 nights and this was not good at all with a toddler! Food being served cold- this happened at several of the restaurants and despite reporting it to staff at the restaurants and to management it happened again! The Italian restaurant was not very clean either- they didn't seem to clean the floor anytime we were there it had food and mess over it. Confusion over what was included or not in the packages- concierge told us certain wine and champagne was included and then other staff told us it wasn't. Very awkward! Crèche- we did not feel this was very welcoming, children seemed unhappy and our son was allowed to fall asleep when we had specifically asked them not to let him nap in the morning slot as we wanted him to nap in the room at his normal time and we would pick him up if he needed to sleep. Very disappointing and we cancelled a further session because of this. Rude staff- we felt staff ignored our concerns and tried to pretend that there was no problems when there were. We were told we had to book appointments to discuss our complaint when we had raised issues on several days about the air conditioning. We then had staff messaging us at all hours (even 1am one day!) , even after we asked to be left alone after escalating things to our travel agent who said she would deal with things directly. All of this ruined a very expensive holiday!

We had the most incredible stay at Ikos Aria, and while the resort itself is absolutely beautiful what really made the experience unforgettable was the amazing staff who went above and beyond for us. A huge thank you to Ioannis the duty manager who was always there when we needed help, super professional, and genuinely kind. He made everything feel seamless, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Nina from Guest Relations was such a pleasure to speak with friendly, warm, and always happy to assist with anything we needed, from dinner bookings to thoughtful recommendations. She really made us feel welcome and looked after. Ioanna at Reception was incredibly helpful and always greeted us with a smile. Whether it was a quick question or a more detailed request, she handled everything calmly and efficiently, which made check-in and day-to-day interactions so smooth. And we can’t forget Christos, the Assistant Bars Manager always around making sure everything ran perfectly. He brought such great energy to the place and made sure we had a great time at the bars, always with a friendly chat and great drink recommendations. The staff truly made us feel special, and it’s clear they all care deeply about creating a great guest experience. We’ll definitely be back and we’re already missing it!

Our third holiday with Ikos and the first time at Aria - the best yet. Absolutely fabulous experience, started relaxing from the moment we arrived at reception. The team and facilities at Ikos are first class. Lovely people, high quality food. Excellent from start to finish.

We enjoyed our time off at this lovely hotel!All the staff was excellent and very friendly. The beach is very long and clean and the view stunning. The food was pretty good and the drinks also. We went to the fitness programs every day, amazing instructors.Thank you Athina! We took also bikes and went to the port where we had a nice time. The Sports team was very kind.Efcharisto Olga and Chris. We don't like swimming in pools but we found the ice cream there very good and Alexandra very helpful. Some nights we spent in the terrace bar where the music was vibrant! To sum up, very beautiful hotel with nice people and facilities. Thank you.
