We are lucky enough to travel quite a bit and Aegean houses is my favourite hotel to stay in, beautiful grounds, lovely rooms, great pool area, location is just perfect for us, away from the hustle and bustle of Kos town but still an easy walk into town, literally 5/10 mins from the beach. My children feel at home here (we have been 4 times now) it’s got a really laid back vibe but nothing is too much trouble, the food is fantastic in the restaurant when you don’t feel like venturing too far and a large supermarket across the road. What really makes the holiday and keeps this hotel as our no 1 is the staff, Suella on reception, Poppy on the bar in the day is one of the nicest ladies you could ever meet, Stelios and Kiril are just amazing, we adore them all, they have a winning formula at this hotel and I can guarantee once you’ve been, it won’t be your last time! We cannot wait to go back this summer!

A lovely apartment complex in a good location. A beautiful pool area with plenty of sun loungers. A friendly bar open all day. A great restaurant from breakfast through to dinner. Great apartments kept immaculately clean with clean towels as needed. Bed linen changed every other day. What's not to like. But the best bit is the staff. Hard working. So friendly and helpful. From amazing receptionists. Lovely cooks. Dedicated cleaners. Bar staff. Everyone a gem. Simply great.

Just spent a week at this hotel with my wife and had fabulous time. It is a relatively small hotel and is about a 20 minute walk from the harbour. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby and a good supermarket about 100m up the road. The hotel was spotless throughout and the staff were all very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Our room was a good size and had a pleasant balcony looking out over the back of the property. The only thing that I can’t comment on is the food as we were self catering and went out and about to eat. I would certainly recommend Aegean Houses an we will be returning.

Unfortunately on arrival our room wasn’t available so we were allocated a studio apartment for first night - which was very basic. They did offer us a free meal voucher, which we accepted - probably a mistake as we had to hand in voucher on arrival at restaurant, don’t know if this was why meal served was not at all good However, after this bad start we did have a lovely stay, pool area is very good and able to get sun-bed any time during day. Rooms are dated would benefit a refurb but everything did work. Have to give all credit to the cleaning team who kept everything in apartment and communal areas spotless.

I booked Aegean Houses having read its good reviews so felt its only fair I return the favour for others. What can I say, Brilliant Place ! We have never been made feel more welcomed on holidays anywhere else. This place has the most welcome homely feel, they treat you like family. As a family of 6 we needed two rooms, one was on ground floor, one half a floor above. The food is great, the pool excellent and because its a small resort you get to know other holidaymakers. Our kids made friends at the pool. They dont allow reserving of sunbeds so never a problem to get a sunbed at any time of day. Now on to this resorts golden asset, its staff !! Absolutely amazing. They made the holiday for us. From Poppi and Costas by day to Stelios and Kyros at night we were treated like royalty. These 4 need a pay rise they are so good at their jobs.Reception, kitchen and cleaning staff excellent too. The air con was great, the rooms a little tired (reno planned for winter)but spotless and if im honest the living area a little small for us but its a sacrifice I would make again to stay here. Its a 20-25 minute flat walk into Kos town with more restaurants than you could ever need. All in all a great holiday, sad to leave will definitely return some day.
