Sunshine Hotel Tigaki

Our first trip to the sunshine hotel and won't be our last. we really can't find anything to complain about. If you want 5* then book 5*, not a 3* and expect 5*. Remember it's Greece, not the UK. Rooms are beautifully decorated. There are no drawers and 1 wardrobe, but it's ample. Bring extra coat hangers to leave here if you have loads of clothes. We have managed fine, no Biggie. Shower lovely. Hook in the bathroom for clothes, not sure why 1 reviewer couldn't see there's. Beds are comfy, room is clean. There's a fridge a kettle and a hairdryer. You'll need to bring your own tea and coffee...no Biggie as we all like our own brand. Pool, we hired the cabana €10 a day for 2 people, if you use the beach you'll pay that anyway. Plenty of sunbeds and not over crowded. With the fact 80% of rooms have a terrace with beds on and direct access to a pool, I can't see why this is an issue really. The beds on the terraces are really really comfy. Yes a few broken pool tiles, but doesn't impact the use of the otherwise spotless pool. Food is adequate and you'll not starve. Be adventurous and support local businesses at night by using restaurants, they aren't expensive and will appreciate the custom. Drinks are ok, want something better, pay for it. It also encourages you to go out and support other local businesses. That's a kind thing to do. Cats, yes there are a few. They are well fed, and bother nobody. They walk around the restaurant but don't bother anyone. They don't even want stroking, they just do their job of mousing. Just be kind to them. Staff are super friendly and can't do enough for you. Based on our experience we've already booked next year for longer. Absolutely no complaints and anything we missed is no Biggie. People expect far to much for so little.

What a great find this hotel is!! Family run and you can tell - it has a great feel to it and all the staff are so so helpful! Food has been lovely - great choice and you’re never hungry!! Drinks are really good for all inclusive - the only downside if you can call it that was that all cocktails are chargeable but there are specials each day for €3.50 so not bad at all! Rooms really modern and super clean! Great location too! Pool area really clean & sunbeds all really comfortable however I would definitely recommend paying the €10 per day and hiring the luxury sunbeds! It’s worth every penny! Would definitely recommend this lovely hotel - they have swim up rooms too which I’d maybe try next time as I’ll will def be returning!!

Currently sat outside waiting for the transport to the airport. To say I’m disappointed to be leaving would be an understatement. Me and my friends have had a really lovely time. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Always smiling and nothing is ever a problem. Beds were likely the comfiest I’ve experienced at a hotel. There was always something for everyone in food choices. Location is perfect as only a stone throw from the strip and 5-10 mins from a stunning beach. My favourite person at this hotel was Azaire (I think that’s how you spell his name) who works in the restaurant. Always a smile and so funny. Will DEFINITELY be returning. Couple.  We are just back from a week at Sunshine Hotel.  Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.  Rooms are good size, shower is perfect.  Beds are comfy alrhough I could have done with 2 pillows.  Fortunately I had a blow-up pillow with me & used that.  Staff are very hard working and friendly.   Location of hotel is perfect.  In a quiet spot but also near to the main strip & 5-10mins from the beach.  We went to the beach every day.  €7.50 for 2 sunbeds (well worth it). Weather was absolutely beautiful.  Lovely holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and the bed was super comfy! The shower cubicle wasn’t properly sealed and the bathroom flooded every time we used it-this was also the case for other holidaymakers. The staff were absolutely amazing-friendly, hardworking and attentive. Jonny, Katrina and everyone else (unsure of their names), make the hotel extra special. The ‘all-inclusive’ status wasn’t really accurate. If you wanted a coffee from the pool bar, they charged us £3.50 per coffee! Also, if you wanted a cocktail, this was also charged for. The cabana beds were €10 per day. The other sun-beds were free…if you manage to get one! The location of the hotel is very good, only a short walk to the main bar street and about 10 mins walk to the beach. We will definitely revisit!

This was a lovely small family run hotel and super clean ! Cleanest I think we’ve stayed in anywhere abroad. The kitchen staff were lovely and did an amazing job of offering various food choices which were traditional and tasty, we did not go hungry! Pool was really clean. I read in reviews gritty on bottom , I couldn’t see or feel any evidence of this the pool was sparkly clean , few small tiles missing but we are approaching end of season and you don’t really notice. Bed was big and comfy and air con was great as it was hot at night Bar staff friendly and attentive bringing drinks to you especially at mealtimes. Soft drinks were a little on the sweet side for us but they were ok. Great location just off the main strip and 5 mins walk from beach , all flat, no hills Hotel is right near bus stop to Kos town which was super cheap. We hired one of the posh sunbeds a couple of times , €10 for the whole day, super comfy . There were lots of towels down early on the normal sunbeds but you get this everywhere , we always managed to get one when we wanted though. All in all this was a superb little hotel with a relaxed vibe would definitely stay again if we come back to Kos
