Ammos Luxury Resort

We arrived on 6 September to be told there was no room for us and were transported to another hotel which wasn't great. The taxi driver informed us this happens all the time. We subsequently saw at least 8 other couples who experienced the same as us during our stay. Going back to our arrival, it was 11:30pm at night and we weren't picked up until 12pm after being told we would be picked up to come back to the hotel at 11 am. It was not luxury the rooms were small and the sunbeds by the pools had rotting ones left around, it was scruffy and unclean. Not luxury at all. The food was substandard and if you didn't make it to dinner before 8, you might as well forget. The redeeming part of the hotel was the staff, not the lying management who tried to say this was a one off. This is a factual review and I would avoid booking here at all costs.

We met Christina at the poolside evening bar and she is so vibrant, adventurous and such a lovely lady. She made our holiday in the Ammos so lovely that we had the best time ever. She is the best no doubt at all and so lovely we wish we could take her home with us. Entertaining and enjoyable all of the time.

Best holiday I’ve ever been to. Close to the airport, private beach and the best bartender Cristina! Such a lovely soul. She makes the atmosphere at the resort unforgettable. I’m pretty positive I’ll be coming back here for my honeymoon! 100% recommend!

An excellent hotel for comfort and relaxation. There is everything you need, great food, luxury rooms, the beach, an incredible spa with lots of treatments. And a wonderful entertainment team with a program filled with fitness activities and various sport activities. Stretching and spa in the mornings was a highlight for us as well as Aquagym!! So much fun. All staff are incredibly friendly and super helpful, going out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. We would definitely come back and hope to see these wonderful people again.

First impressions are not great. On arrival this afternoon we we ushered into lunch before the buffet closed and after trying to check in, filling out the registration form we were told there's an issue with the electricity supply and we've been moved to another hotel just for the night! Seems to be common occurrence looking at other TA reviews. Hopefully it will be sorted tomorrow and I can update my review....

Arrived at 1.00 am to be told there is an issue with our room and they cannot offer us a room until midday tomorrow! We're in shock. The Ammos had already arranged a different hotel for us for one night - but it's 20 mins away. Why didn't someone let us know BEFORE we arrived to check in??! I have to say that Saeed on reception is very apologetic and kind, but we want the room we booked and paid for. Really not happy. Waiting for Tui to respond to our request for help ...... it's now 1.30 am
