Space Cap Hotel recensioner

I had a very disappointing stay at Space Cap Hotel in Kota Kinabalu. The cleanliness was terrible, the pillow and bed sheets were visibly dirty, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The mattress was so thin that I could feel the wooden base underneath, which made for a very unpleasant night’s rest. Another frustrating rule was having to take off my slippers inside the hostel. This might seem like a small thing, but it made my socks dirty, which was really annoying. To make matters worse, in the morning, there were two drunk guests making a lot of noise, which disrupted my sleep. I am relieved that I only booked for one night because I would not have been able to tolerate staying any longer. I do not recommend this hostel at all, only stay here if you have no other choice!!

For the budget traveler this hotel is more than enough. They provide sea view from balcony and the capsule is not big and not small. Plus point they have lift so if you bring a luggage you'll be fine. They also provide women only room and locker for your luggage. The staff are so funny and helpful too you'll feel less lonely haha. I meet and talk to other soloist, very nice experience. The thing that you may notice they don't provide breakfast and you can't cook here. So be prepared to bring your own meals. Oh there is a washing machine inside but you need to pay for 8 pieces

You pay what you get. Overall I still give 4/5. Receptionist is friendly. Share toilet. Cons : sharing toilet, no plug for charger & cleanliness is below average.

Location is very good … it is in front of waterfront kota Kinabalu

Great little basic accomodation. Capsules are large and comfy, USB ports and night lights. Shower is hot, never had to wait for bathroom. Great location downtown

Very good and comfy stay. Even muslim friendly where the premise was prohibiting the visitor from bringing in non halal food to the premise. Thanks for the concern. The toilet was clean. The equipment in the kitchen is quite complete. I mean, my money is really worth the stay. Maybe even beyond the worth, it is fantastic! The receptionist was friendly and was very helpful.

Budget couple bed with better privacy compared with other hostel because each double bunk in a cabin. But bed all so creaky even slightest like lifting one leg can be heard. Not recommended for light sleeper
