Amazing views!!
They try to clean but it could be better.
Amenities need to be upgraded. Everything is old.
But the views are just magical.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
There’s no WiFi. - I hope they can improve on this too.

I booked 1 bedroom sea view spa suite apartment. It was located on the 5 floors. I brought one toodler, how scary it is. But worry not, the balcony got grill and sliding door glass.
Very comfortable, and foods is good. Eventho pricey. The is basic kitchen utensil, can cook.

Just nice but we got the room that already cannot open the door near at swimming pool but its okey maybe for safety first and by the way make sure after this change the time for check in because we felt so fast when time for check out at 11am and check in at 3pm

We stayed at spa suites (2 rooms) for a night, spacious room with sea view. Breakfast was included in our stay, not much choices but still very good 👍Overall we enjoyed our stay here at Borneo Beach Villas

We visited for a family trip, and while the location is beautiful and conveniently situated, the cleanliness didn’t meet our expectations. Unfortunately, we found a large cockroach and some leftover snacks under the bed. Additionally, the outdoor bathroom's shower head wasn’t functioning properly, as the water temperature couldn’t be adjusted to warm or cold.The management should address the air conditioning in the living room—you probably know what I mean! I didn’t want to leave an average review, especially because the staff who checked me in were very friendly. However, when we checked out, the service was slow. The staff didn’t take the initiative to check on the status of our deposit, leaving us waiting while housekeeping inspected the room. To make things worse, two guests who came after us received their deposit back before we did, which was frustrating. I think this can be avoid if the staff were trained better. :)

The Borneo Beach Villa is an unbeatable spot for a nice calm vacation. The beach is just beautiful although you fill find plastic stuff here and there. For younger (and older) children it’s perfect since the waterline is flat and you can walk easily 30-50 meters into the water. The waves are nice. there is no lifeguard on duty but you don't need one.
Don’t expect a new hotel for this price. We had nice beach front villa at the southern end of the site. At low tide you could walk the stays directly into the water, at high tide you need to go to the beach 100-200m. The sunset is beautiful. Hotel location would be 10 of 5 stars!
Make sure your Grab app works so you can order food since the restaurant is quite pricy for the offerings. Also getting away with a taxi will need some time and Grab. Go shopping and bring your own snacks and drinks upfront to enjoy the evenings. The breakfast is okay for the 3 days we stayed there but lacks some variety. They have a nice egg station for omelette and other things.
You are in nature so you need to be prepared for mosquitoes, sandflies and a cockroach here and there. But this is nothing which is really dramatic and can happen at the best places. We had all required sprays and used them when necessary. Some outdoor mosquito smoke lamps can also be useful.
Overall the family was very happy about our time there. The house is older but all items were functional. In case of support the technician was there in 15-30 minutes.
For the low price it’s a good place with a wonderful beach but if you don’t want to compromise quality furnishings or need nightlife this is not a suitable spot.

Place was fantastic to have family gathering and located very near to the beach. However we didn't play on the beach due to heavy waves and rain but the children enjoyed the pool very much.

Borneo Beach villas are located close to a beautiful beach with amazing sunsets and crystalline water. The two swimming pools are also very nice. The pool villa is large and very enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the environment is calm and relaxing. Notice that is far away from everything : it is a perfect place to relax at the beach and pool but not easy to reach other destinations. Food choice is limited but good. Definitely suggested if you want a calm gateway immersed in the nature.
