The Oasis Resort

Reception staff members are friendly and responsive. He delivered extra pillows when I requested late at night. Location seemed remote at first site but upon walking around the next day, we realized it takes just 5 min to walk out to the main road where there is a highly rated Thai restaurant. Happened to meet the resort owner while checking out. He is very warm and welcoming person.

Where to start… I booked a room with a bathtub, as clearly shown in the photos of my reservation. Upon arrival, they gave us a room with a shower instead. I went to reception to address this issue, and they told me I had to pay an extra 500 THB for the bathtub. Feeling I had no other option, I reluctantly paid, even though the room I booked explicitly showed a bathtub. Total scam. To make matters worse, there was no hot water in the shower, making it impossible to take a bath. I was freezing! This made the experience even more disappointing. Although the room looks nice at first glance, don’t let appearances fool you. The bed is so hard it feels like sleeping on the floor. We had terrible back pain and requested an extra pillow, only to be told it would cost us another 50 THB per pillow! The cleanliness was just ok, only superficial at best. Despite staying for two nights, our room was never cleaned. Lastly, the hotel’s location is very inconvenient unless you have a car, as it’s in the middle of nowhere. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

was a nice place to stay with good facilities, though the room had little lighting, would still recommend tho as it was a good place near to krabi and was very good for the price
