Hotel Grottger Luxury Boutique - Krakow This "luxury" hotel was booked by our friend, who lives a few steps from the aforementioned Hotel Grottger Luxury Boutique City. The reservation was made for two people for the period 07.03.2025 - 10.03.2025. We showed up at the hotel on Friday, March 7, at 2:30 p.m., and although the hotel day starts at 4:00 a.m., we were greeted at the reception by a cleaning lady, explaining that the receptionist would arrive in about two hours. The lady handed us the key to the room and that was the end of the "welcome". When we returned from our walk in the evening, the receptionist, who was already there, demanded immediate settlement of the bill for our stay at this hotel. (The hotel advertises that it is enough to show only an ID and a credit card for inspection). Slightly surprised and disgusted by such a request, I refused, explaining that I was tired after the journey and that it was late. The next day, when I returned from breakfast, I was once again asked to pay the bill immediately. When I pointed out that we were not leaving the hotel yet, the receptionist stated that such procedures were used in all hotels in the country, as well as abroad. Wanting to avoid unnecessary and pointless discussion, as well as to hide my ignorance on the subject (until recently I flew a lot professionally and stayed in hotels almost all over the world), I paid the entire bill presented to me (PLN 1,170) by credit card. However, the "nicest" surprise that this "luxury" hotel gave us took place on Sunday. When we went for breakfast and when we returned from breakfast, no one expressed any wishes for us. However, when we went out for a walk, dressed appropriately, the receptionist informed us that it was necessary for us to pack our things by 4:00 PM, because we had to change rooms. When I asked if it was necessary, we were told that it was, which was dictated by the illness of the second receptionist and that part of the hotel would be closed from 4:00 p.m. Of course, I expressed our dissatisfaction, explaining that we had theater tickets and could not fulfill this request. However, the receptionist found a way out of this impasse, telling us that we could pack right now and they would move our luggage later. Wanting to avoid further stress, and in fact having no other choice, we bothered to return to our room and packed our “unfortunate” luggage. I gave the key back to the reception, in return I received another one from the replacement room and, a little nervous, we finally set off for a walk. How great was our surprise, however, when after a few hours, while having dinner in the company of our friend, the “bloodcurdling adventure” continued. The manager of the Grottger Hotel called (on our friend’s phone), complaining that we were exceptionally rude guests. When we arrived at the hotel the manager advised us that we had a booked a room for 4 people which they didn't do (this was due to the company who I booked through not giving me the correct options, i would have been happy with 2 double rooms.) However, he advised that he had sorted a room out especially for us. The room itself was extremely clean and was a very nice room. Plenty of space, air conditioning and the bathroom was beautiful! The manager was extremely friendly and easy to talk to and when asking about things like breakfast he was extremely honest and gave great advice. He was even happy for us to leave our bags at reception in the time between checking out and being picked up for our flights. I have nothing bad to say about my experience and if I visit Krakow again I will definitely try and stay here again.

I had great stay at Grottger Boutique hotel. Everything was so organize for me from I got pick up in the airport. I felt home at this hotel. Great location and lovely hotel room with a fantastic service and kindness !

We arrived late at night and check in was swift and easy. The room was large and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfy with extra blankets available in the wardrobe if necessary. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was ample and varied on the first day as the hotel was busy. As we were one of only two couples in the hotel after this they gave us a variety of breakfasts to choose from after, so that they could prepare without waste. The breakfasts were very good too! It is a 20 minute walk to the old town, which is easily found, therefore the location was ideal for us. All in all, good value for money, clean and friendly hotel in a close enough location to the old town to easily walk it.

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen aber sehr zentralen Lage. Wir konnten unmittelbar vor dem Hotel auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz (Mo - Sa zwischen 10 und 20 Uhr zu bezahlen, was aber okay ist) parken. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sauber aber beides etwas klein, was aber Jammern auf hohem Niveau ist. Leider ist das Zimmer sehr hellhörig was abends dazu führen kann, dass man alles hört. Es war auch nicht möglich ein weiteres Kissen zu bekommen; für 4 Sterne etwas befremdlich. Das Frühstück war gut und frisch - leider sind die Frühstückszeiten zwischen 8 und 10 Uhr so dass es um 8 Uhr recht voll in dem doch sehr kleinen und überschaubaren Raum wird. Kommen wir wieder? Ich denke eher nein.

Le camere sono belle ma poi se il bagno non ha finestra e l'aereatore non funziona? Chiunque ti direbbe ti do un'altra stanza. Loro no! Al massimo ti fanno un download a una stanza molto meno costosa e senza rimborso! Complimenti! Per non parlare poi del minibar non funzionante. Dell'WIFI inesistente e che avevo prenotato il parcheggio è poi mi hanno detto che non c'era. Ma che razza di albergo è??? Evitate. C'è ne sono tanti altri!

Soggiornare in questo albergo, gestito dalla famiglia Adams, ci ha rovinato la vacanza. Abbiamo riservato con booking una suite e concordato con l'albergo il parcheggio. All'arrivo primo problema: niente parcheggio e intorno ci sono solo parcheggi a pagamento. La sera alle 11 problema serio: nei due bagni senza finestre non funzionano gli areatori, ce ne accorgiamo alla prima doccia e siamo in tre: il bagno è impraticabile. Chiamiamo il portiere che ci dice che fino a lunedì (soggiorniamo da sabato a martedì mattina) il problema non si può risolvere. La mattina dopo chiediamo di avere un' altra stanza e concordiamo con la concierge la stanza n. 4 un pochino più piccola ma carina; ci dicono di fare i nostri bagagli e di lasciarli in portineria, li troveremo in stanza al nostro rientro dalle visite alla città. La sera torniamo e scopriamo che ci vogliono ridare la solita stanza o al limite un'altra molto più piccola e meno costosa; siamo costretti ad accettare perché abbiamo bisogno di usare il bagno. Infine pretendono di non renderci neppure la differenza fra le stanze perché abbiamo chiesto noi la sostituzione, come se avere bagni inagibili fosse un particolare di nessuna importanza. Siamo in trattativa con booking ma non sappiamo se si risolverà. Aggiungo la sporcizia delle stanze, la biancheria strappata, lo stato della matta della prima stanza (riassume la situazione) testimoniata dalle foto allegate e le continue provocazioni di un membro dello staff. Cercate un altro albergo o evitate di accettare la suite n. 5 in cui, a nostro parere il malfunzionamento è stabile.

Bonito, elegante y detallista hotel familiar. Excelente opción para recomendar en Cracovia. Buena localización 15 minutos andando del centro. Las habitaciones son amplias y con toda la equipación tv, secador, suelo radiante, calefactores, split con bomba de calor, parquet en la habitación y marmol en el baño. El buffet del desayuno muy completo. He estado 4 días y he comido y cenado 2 de ellos, todas muy rica. El personal servicial y atentos a cualquier necesidad de los clientes. Por último, al ser un hotel dirigido por un matrimonio, se nota la mano y el ojo de la propietaria en cada uno de los detalles. Todos los días me crucé con ella mientras supervisaba cada detalle e interesándose por nuestra estancia.
