Dietla 32 Residence

I do not recommend this apartment. We ordered a sweet breakfast, but they served the wrong one. When I tried to contact them, they didn’t respond. To make matters worse, when we requested a refund, they rejected it, stating that it’s ‘normal to make mistakes.’ This is completely unacceptable and reflects very poor customer service. Avoid staying here if you want a stress-free experience.

Our trip started at the Dielta 99 apartments then due to sewage issues was moved to these apartments. On arrival they were bigger than previous, however had not been properly cleaned. There was food on the wall, dirty fridge, chips out the cupboard doors, i complained and was moved, this apartment had urine on the toilet seat and dirty footprint in the bathroom floor, marks up the wall, i spoke to the lady in Reception who said wipe the toilet and the cleaner would clean in the morning. This was Tuesday and not once did the cleaner come in between then and Saturday when we left, messaged the hotel twice but to no avail. Its a shame as these apartments are ideally situated and nice apartments, but they are in dire need of some TLC and maintenance. They are advertised as being fully sanitised between bookings this clearly is not the case. There was only 1 saucepan, 1 wine glass, but 4 of everything else. The entrance hall to the rooms is very dark and smelt fusty. The gentleman in reception was not the most welcoming and very abrupt. These are just a few photos we took

If staying in room 2C, bring yourself a peg for your nose!! We arrived late last Wednesday night so the key was left for us. As soon as we opened the door the smell hit us in the face. You would’ve thought something was dead in the room. We obviously needed to shower after a long day of travelling. We were left with 2 towels, one bath towel and one hand towel. Not much use when there’s 2 of us. We were up early the following morning for an all day trip. We went down to the reception to find a sign on the door saying they don’t open till 11. Since we knew we were going to be out all day and wouldn’t be back before the reception closed, we emailed the email address that was on the reception window. We asked for extra towels and made them aware of the horrendous smell in the room. We arrived back late that night and surprise surprise there were absolutely no towels left, the room still had the awful smell and my email had been ignored. The following morning we waited for the reception to open before we went out. When we went in we explained that we didn’t have enough towels. The women went looking through the back and said they don’t actually have any large towels left. When I mentioned it wasn’t good enough she said to come back at 2pm and she should hopefully have some then. We then mentioned that we had emailed the day before and asked if someone could look at the smell. The response was pretty blunt from her………”oh, eh, erm, well it’s an old building so we can’t do anything about it”. Then she turned her back on us. We were so glad we were only staying there for 4 nights, the smell is something that was unbearable. You could smell it when you were in your bed at night. Good job we were out all day because you couldn’t spend any more time in there than you really needed to. The location was pretty good but apart from that we wouldn’t recommend and we definitely won’t be be back.
