Bloozz Resort Bonaire

So, the owners are clueless. It’s ok to dive all week spending £1000s at the dive centre they have photos of on their website. And eat lunch every day at their restaurant, but on the last day when you just want to swim in the pool they kick you out. Beyond the Coral is an excellent dive centre, just a shame they share a site with individuals that have no idea about hospitality and too much money. Think very carefully before booking at this hotel, it’s all about the money!!!

Just had a great week at Bloozz. Apartments are modern, clean and very comfortable. We had a second floor sea view which had a huge balcony overlooking the pool and sea. The hotel is across street from bachelors beach parking lot - and not on the beach but right across with pretty views and the pool is great. Restaurant food is good and pretty quick service. The best part was the Beyond the Corals dive center on site. We had planned to dive on our own all week which we mostly did - we completed the required orientation dive with them and then a night dive as well. They were so helpful and friendly with advice on where to go, equipment and daily help with tanks etc. can’t recommend them highly enough!

On several occasions we have gone to dinner and the food was very good. Unfortunately the waiter's service is terrible. It would be good to observe that topic since it is a beautiful place and thus the visit will be even more pleasant. Thank you

brand new resort. everything works well including air conditioning. rooms are small but really fine. bed was great. staff was very good. the only downside is the parking is not great. tight spots which if you aren't good parking a pickup truck gets a bit dicey. there is an empty lot (for now) next door which is where i parked. the restaurant was good and very reasonably priced.

This was our first time staying here. Nice pool, beds comfortable air con worked well. What I missed was a TV that has cable, they wanted you to stream shows but we are in our 50’s and 60’s and couldn’t get it working right and were frustrated by trying. The bar drinks were not very good- ordered a pina colada and it was a mix poured over ice, same with strawberry margarita. We didn’t have food there as it seemed over priced as well and I saw multiple families waiting a long time at their tables for service. Probably understaffed, only 1 lady doing all the cooking, she was very backed up. I would stay here again because the location was good and the price was right

This was just what we wanted. Ability to cook all our own meals and snorkel right from the hotel. We booked the least expensive studio which has some tradeoffs -- the parking area steps came right up near our patio so we were always on view. Most of the ground floor apartments have a similar "fishbowl" issue. The room is tiny but well equipped. It lacks towel racks and could always use more hooks and shelves. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook every meal for two weeks. There's a drying rack for wet swimming gear. The outdoor patio is lovely with couch, coffee table and dining table. There was an extra chair that just got in the way.(again, we booked the smallest room and the outdoor furniture is the same for all apartments.) Bachelor Beach has good snorkeling. The pool is great and has plenty of sunbeds. Some tips if you are staying awhile: The dishwasher works really well but they only give you a few detergent tablets and charge a dollar apiece for more. Bring your own from home. The garbage can is large and gets smelly before it is full so we bought smaller bags that we could take out more frequently. We were without a car for the first week. The grocery store that is less than a mile has limited selection and especially lacks produce and dairy. If you are carless take a taxi or walk the three miles to the supermarket in Kralendyk and stock up. If you want to explore the island it's best to have a car anyway. You'll need a truck for many of the dive sites and drive through Washington Slagbaai.
