This is an excellent hotel in central Kristiansand. We were here for a conference which was held in the hotel. Location: In the heart of town, very convenient for shops, restaurants etc. Car parking: They offer a limited number of spaces in a private car park adjacent to the hotel. The charges were about the same as public car parks nearby. Reception: All staff were very friendly and helpful when approached. Room: We were in a double room on the fourth floor. The room was spacious and had tea and coffee making facilities. There was also a sofa seat and a coffee table. An iron and ironing board were available for a cupboard beside the lift. Our room overlooked a rear courtyard and was quiet at night. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast: Served in the ground floor restaurant. They offer an excellent selection of hot and cold food, breads, cereals etc. Conference: Our conference was hosted in a modern conference room on the ground floor. The facilities were ideal for us, coffee etc was provided as requested. Our meals were served in the ground floor restaurant and were always of a very high standard. The service was friendly and efficient. Conclusion: An excellent hotel in the centre of Kristiansand. Highly recommended!

Central hotel in the middle of the city center. The hotel is modern and tidy. A large silent lobby will meet you when you arrive the hotel. Parking can be purchased in the backyard of the hotel. To park a motorcycle (Mc) you will need to pay 275.- nok for a night and not any discount wrt car as everywhere in Norway. Could be an important for the receptionist to speak Norwegian to Norwegian guests (since she was Norwegian) 😀

Staid here for a night while visiting the city. It is a very nice hotel, located close to the city centre. Reception at the hotel was quick and efficient and everything regarding staff was great, we had no issues at all. Rooms are clean, with a good bed and acceptable bathroom which could be a big bigger and more modern. In general quite good but not great. The lobby is beautiful, breakfast area is spacious, well organized with plenty of food choices and quite good to excellent in quality so I would not miss it. All together a very good hotel on a great location that is not too pricey.

What a welcome sight coming out of the rain. The front desk staff were wonderful - friendly, efficient and unbelievably helpful. Yet another goo night's sleep in a Thon Hotel comfortable bed. As always, the breakfast was exceptional. Location is excellent with shopping and restauurants close by. The waterfront is also just moments away. The station is about 700-800 metres away but quite walkable. Shame I have no plans to be back any time soon in Kristiansand, but I would consider staying here agin.

Really good option, wonderful lobby, rooms are good and breakfast perfect. Close to the main streets is really good hotel to stay and rest in the city. Reception and everyone inside are sympatic. There's a parking inside where electric cars can charge.

This hotel has been totally renovated and stands fresh and modern with great comfort and design. The location is perfect with walking distance to all city Center attractions. Staff are friendly and attentive - breakfast spread is great and tasty. Parking is available in the back yard or in multiple parking houses within the immediate surroundings.

Why the hell don't a hotel warn you about the nightclub directly opposite the hotel. 1.35am and the noise is horrendous. DONT come to this hotel if you want to sleep on a club night!!! The noise level in tyr room is off the charts......Be warned!

Stayed for a night after attending a wedding in Kristiansand. Very nice hotel, very central. Our room was a disabled friendly room with plenty of room for a wheelchair. The bathroom is a wet room. Need to be careful if sight is not good as there is a small ledge (1cm) between floor and shower but all same colour so hard to see with poor eyesight. Room was overlooking the main road so was noisy with cars and partying people, but it did not disturb us. Only negative of the trip was that the cooked breakfast was cold. We went for breakfast at 8.30 just before they were queuing for tables. While the food had warming lamps above, there was cold air from the kitchen area blowing over the food. We did mention it to a server who said we could go up and ask for a new meal but we had settled for continental by then. Parking at the hotel is expensive (250kr a night) but street parking is available after 5 Saturday until Monday morning.

Terrible hotel with loud banging techno all night. Tried to move to a quiet room but all full. Given ear plugs at 2am but you could still hear. Massive Qs at check in and terrible food in the cafe. Avoid at all costs
