Crystal Rose Lodge & Spa

My experience at Crystal Rose Lodge and Spa was extremely disappointing. I booked accommodations for my team for a wedding on April 21, 2025, but encountered multiple issues: Booking errors: I requested a modification for the correct dates, which was confirmed but later disregarded when staff demanded an earlier checkout. Communication failures: Niel delayed sharing decor details with me, and we faced challenges in securing a preparation room for the groom and groomsmen. Food restrictions: Initially, we were told we couldn't bring breakfast items, but the maid of honor received approval for the same request. Venue issues: Upon arrival, we found inappropriate table settings and unkempt gardens, contrary to agreements made. Poor service: On the wedding day, we were asked to check out just before the ceremony, disrupting preparations. Additionally, canapés were insufficient, and dessert service was delayed. This was not my first negative experience with Crystal Rose. In 2022, I encountered issues with a Valentine's Day spa day that we were unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. Unfortunately, we were neither permitted to reschedule nor granted a refund. Overall, I cannot recommend this venue for events due to their unreliable service.

All I can say is, I am never booking the spa ever again, booked it for my birthday and ended up regretting it. It was supposed to be a full day experience, but all the treatments were cut short, we had 4 45min treatments and they were all done under 45min, the worst was the Indian head massage which only lasted 20minutes. the booking said "complimentary tea and coffee during the duration of stay" I made tea during the day and i was charged for it. The food was very salty. I must say, birthday experience ruined.

The moment from the booking to the initial visit & short stay @ the Lodge there was nothing short of absolutely amazing. A beautiful & tranquil lodge. All the ladies & chef was professional & friendly. Great meals. Relaxing Spa Treatment. Fantastic memories. A hidden gem🌻

Excellent services from booking to departure. Food was excellent, decorations were beautiful, cupcakes delicious, and services extraordinary, Neil is excellent!

The location was beautiful, however, we were not offered the pool or hot tub, which was disappointing The food was average and could definitely be improved upon The massage rooms were perfect and so was the service, thoroughly enjoyed that We were shocked to find Bodily fluids on the pillows, but it was so late that complaining would be fruitless. The pillows itself, was also very uncomfortable. The staff however, were friendly and kind. I hope these notes will help improve on the overall experience of new commers.
