Friendly staff, amenities are good. Near to the sea. The swimming pool is good. Air con in the room fantastic. Service is poor, slow. Hotel is old, rooms must be upgraded. Breakfast is so so... the price you pay is not what you expect.

Everything in here is sooooo niceeeee. The beach view, the amenities, facilities, all are ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Of course not budget friendly, thus we didn't choose for dinner & lunch. The breakfast has quite a limited menu although we spend A LOT for the price which is quite a bit bummer. They will ask MYR1000 DEPOSIT, but we can request to opt for it. The reason for the deposit is for them to auto deduct any additional paid service but if we opt out, we have to pay it straight away (which is fine for us). Have daily activities but some of them have to pay. The entertainment room is funnn. Always playing pool table there but quite eerie at night as the room is far from others and the path to it is a bit dark. Overall still satisfied with this resort as all are tip topp. Their workers are friendly. The beach is unforgettable!! Amenities given are completely more than enough.

Our first trip to the resort was lovely. Service from all staff was generally really good. The resort is very well maintained and spotless! Breakfast buffet had a great selection and delicious. My only gripe is location of our room which had a view of the top of another cottage which was an eyesore and quite disappointing. That said I I know now which rooms to avoid next time if we plan to visit again.

It was getaway trip and really worth it. A perfect place where to de stress with long walks by the clean beach or just read a book in one of the hammocks provided buoyed by the sea breeze and sound or the crashing waves as a lullaby. Will definitely come again.

Best 3 nights for us. It was not enough. Everything was great and lovely. One of the best beach we ve been to. Well kept. Staff was attentive friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet although limited choices but enough for us. Concierge was welcoming. Room is big enough for family of Five. Though the bath tub cleanliness could be improved. Overall satisfied with our stay. Definitely will find reasons to come again. Thank you Amira for great hospitality, for special made nasi dagang. Pleasant surprise i must say. Mr Ong for helping me when i was struggling with my two boys 😂

A beautiful getaway that's only 3 hours away from KL. Excellent service from the moment you enter their area up to the second you leave. Rooms are spacious and welcoming, and because its low density, there's no crowds at the common areas (pool, breakfast buffet, restaurants, gyms, cabanas etc). We started planning our trip back here as soon as we left the resort area.

This is our third time staying at Tanjong Jara Resort, and each it never fail to deliver. This place is absolutely gorgeous, expansive and totally conducive for one to recharge. They have taken great pains to recreate the rustic authentic Malay architecture with a well maintained landscape and gardens. And the food is is worth the trip itself- it was that good!

I Book for bumbung garden view only also req honeymoon decorations & after arrival didn’t expect all they upgrade from my bumbung room type to anjung beach room because of my honeymoon trip after married 🥹🤍 really thankful for the suprise for them, after this of course will coming & repeat again 🤍 Very friendly staff, good service! The resort is quite good with its facilities and many activities. You can practically stay there for a few days trapped in the resort itself. Service is top notch with infinity pool and private beach. Go for 3D2N if possible. However comes to certain things like the room, for me it is abit run down, can see its aging despite beautiful photos of it: Plug points are lacking. Some even cannot fit due to its position is at the edge like the hairdryer one, genius contractor. Shower could have fit the handheld which makes it better to shower instead of rain shower only for premium hotels. The room was abit slanted thus making the bed also slanted, our sleeping experience was affected.

The service is good, and the staff is polite and friendly. The room is clean and well managed, very comfortable to stay.
