De King hotel is just beside avenue K and it's a strategic location. Down stairs can have a durian and Mamak stall selling Nasi Kandar. Convenient store 7-11 just down stairs. The room is fine for me and they provide one card it's only and it's troublesome when going down take things except that all is fine and is a nice hotel when going to Kuala Lumpur.

Public transportation is easily accessible and is located near the Twin Towers, making it convenient for visitors.

I typically avoid staying close to tourist attractions because prices can be steep, and I prefer modern backpacker hostels over traditional hotels. A Malaysian friend recommended De King Hotel KLCC due to its convenient location near my bus stops, and I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable rates. While the check-in process was a bit slow, checking out was quick. The room was standard, but I found the lighting a bit dim and the bathroom quite dated. I booked a room with two single beds since that was the minimum option available, even though I’m traveling alone. That said, I must emphasize how convenient this hotel is for everything—whether it’s dining, shopping, or even karaoke in the middle of the night. K Avenue Mall is right next door, and the KTV is open until 2am.

Every travel to KL.. sure booking this hotel..very recommended

The hotel itself is a bit old but what I like most about the room is that has no bad smell and the water pressure of the shower is strong. This hotel's location is really perfect as it is very near Suria and Petronas Tower. There's a mall in front of the hotel which is connected to Suria. There's also Train Station in the basement of Suria which is really convenient for travel around KL.

As soon as I checked in, there was a cockroach roaming on top of my bed. I asked them to change my room. They said at first they’re fully booked and they will spray insecticide in the room. I refused because I can’t sleep knowing a cockroach will be walking all over me at night with the smell of insecticide in the room. So I asked for a refund. The front desk receptionist disappeared and then came back with the manager. They did NOT say that they were looking for new rooms to place me at. I thought they were processing the refund! By that time, I already booked another hotel nearby as I was coming from a 14 hours flight, and just want to shower and rest! Before I left I told them they were not clear that they were looking for a room and that I already booked a non refundable hotel nearby. They agreed to refund me so I left. Woke up the next morning to their cancellation rejection on the app. Bear in mind that I didn’t show them pictures or made a fuss in front of other customers ! I was very nice and discrete ! I got the agent to negotiate with them, but they changed their mind and refused to refund me after they said they would! I DONT recommend the property because with their poor hygiene the least thing they could do is have better communication skills and service attitude! SCAMMERS!

This hotel used to be named Apple Hotel. Location is great. Just next to constuction site so make sure you dont get 01,02,17,18 rooms, but no noise at night. Big gap at windows. Different type of rooms on each floor as previously wasnt as dated last few stays on another floors. Check-in time is 3 pm

Short walking distance from lrt klcc. Room and the toilet are spacious and clean. My room is at the 10th floor with klcc view. There is 7E and mamak connected to the lobby. Definitely will repeat my booking here for a short staycation in kl 😁

Suitable for business travelers who always need to catch time. got many shops around the hotel too. will repeat again next time.

I always love ❤️ DeKing because of it’s location in the middle of everything. My aeroline bus station also just beside this hotel so once I arrive from Penang i can straight away check in. Below this hotel has a nasi kandar restaurant and 7Eleven which operate 24 hours. Avenue K and LRT station also just in front of this hotel. Front desk staff really helpful and friendly. In fact they already seem to remember me because I always stay at this hotel. The only think that I really hope this hotel can improve is the housekeeping. I saw staff do cleaning without taking off their shoes a few times. I saw some shoe mark also on the floor and there was one time the staf walk into my room with his shoe. The toilet bowl was not cleaned properly. Last time I found urine on my toilet seat upon check in. The bathroom tiles i guess never been cleaned. Because the design a bit rough and dark so the mould not clearly visible. But still can see. I hope the management can do something to improve cleanliness.

hotel is easy for me to meet client but the price is a bit on the expensive for the size of the room
